It operates with the large and heavy phones such as iPhone 11 Pro Max without any problem - iPhone 11 Pro Max is 230 grams while the iSteady X supports 280 grams. The clamp grasps the phone tightly and securely which gives me peace in mind. The buttons on the gimbal and the functions in the APP are easy to use with nearly zero learning curve. Last but not least, its folding size is the most compact in the market, very easy to carry around. The grip jaws work well with or without a phone case and the rubber padding feels solid.
