[5/8"-27 Male] I bought this stand to use with an iPad holder, since it's two way adjustable. It works perfectly! The construction of the stand is incredibly sturdy. The workmanship is class A! The base is heavier than most mic stands I've used, which is excellently, since I'd prefer that the stand not tip over with and iPad attached. I'm also a professional musician, although only part time these days. I'm considerable buying two more of these standard to replace the ones I've been using. Seriously, if you're looking for a well-made, professional stand, this one's for you!

[13.565 lb] Like the Prompter. Real professional. Setup instructions were difficult. States that there is no iPad holder but there is. Phone holder is not in case but may have to get one. Camera easily attaches to base. Lens string is difficult to tighten.
