Professional Studio Monitor Speakers

[Black] I recently purchased the Kali Lone Pine Studio Monitor V2 speakers and I am blown away by their performance. The sound quality is crystal clear and the bass response is impressive. The compact size makes them perfect for my home studio, but they pack a punch that can easily fill a larger room. The build quality is top-notch and they look great on my desk. I highly recommend the Kali Lone Pine Studio Monitor V2 speakers to anyone in need of an upgrade to their studio setup.

[1.9 lb] I'm a professional filmscoring musician who has a great home studio set-up with great monitors. I bought these small Genelec 8010's for a more portable, laptop-based rig I can take with me when I go somewhere for awhile but want to continue working. I assumed I'd be compromising significantly with small speakers, but figured I'd always do final mixes at home. While I'll probably still do that, these these 8010s are really great. They sound great, are fun to work on, and do allow thoughtful mixing decisions. I've even, on occasion, listened to mixes on these that were done on my home studio set-up and made changes that improved the mix in very meaningful ways. In short, I highly recommend these as the most truly professional, small, lightweight speakers I've heard.

[105 dB] These monitor speakers, although pricy, are very well suited to mixing and editing in protools for a studio either at home or in a formal studio setting. They are transparent with a very flat sound that does not emphasize any particular aspect of the frequency spectrum. Flat sound as used here is a good thing. The bass is surprisingly strong in my editing room which only about 8' x 10'. I did add a subwoofer for frequencies below 50Hz. The highs are exceptionally clear and the midrange very smooth. These speakers are very easy on the ears even after several hours editing. I highly recommend them. I use them mainly to edit recording of live theatrical musical performances.

[10.4" / 26.4 cm] It only took a few minutes to assemble and position these stands. I use them for my computer's M-AUDIO studio monitor speakers. Since I installed the stands, I've been wondering why I didn't buy them sooner. The sound is so much better having the speakers at the right height.
