Projector Mounting Kit Ceiling

[4.1 lb] Mounting a projector from a ballroom ceiling with a 4-6 foot extension. This is the second purchase of its kind and I will be ordering more.

[Floor mounted] This screen was installed in a small conference room with an NEC projector. The screen can be wall or ceiling mounted, and this flexibility came in handy when we had to switch to a ceiling mount at the last moment. The screen presents very well, and is unobtrusive when retracted. The tensioning system works nicely, and we didn't have to change any of the factory settings for the drop. I would have liked to see some additional mounting holes for attaching the screen to studs in the wall, so the installer has more options for wall mounting.

[Quiet] This ceiling mount is very solid and well designed. Easy to install, with studs on the projector mounting plate that line up with key-hole slots in the ceiling mount and lever action keyed lock to secure the two assemblies, providing an effortless task to hoist and secure the 25 pound projector to the ceiling. Excellent adjustments for yaw and elevation. If there is anything I did not like, it would be the price of $299, but this mount is far superior than most universal mounts in the marketplace.

[11 lb / 5 kg] I had an old ceiling mount and didn't want to remove it since the old projector died and had to get a new projector with different mounting holes, and this bracket worked great. I did call Peerless for tech support first and they confirmed it would work with the new Optoma unit and B&H had it in stock and I had them overnight it bec/ there was football game that we needed the home theater up and running, and they delivered great!!

[15 lb] Ceiling mounting a heavy protector can be tricky. For years I’ve been accepting the fact that mine would never be 100% aligned, which is a hard pill to swallow when you’re attempting to recreate your favorite high quality movie theater experience. This product solved multiple issues within minutes of getting all the hardware installed. I added an extension pole to get it to my desired height, and shizam... the projector slid right into its counterpart attached to the extension, tightened it down in seconds, and after getting the projector as level as possible on its own, I used the fine tuning adjustments on this device (others have raved about here, and rightly so). Perfectly even lines all around the perimeter of my 120”, 2.40:1 CinemaScope screen. Pure delight now. I can’t say enough about the build quality and ease of setup (assuming you understand that no setup like this is easy, and a lot of the math, science, and trial/error had been done with the original installation- but had I had this product to begin with, it would have cut everything in 1/2.) One if the best investments I ever made. I know that’s a grand statement for such a seemingly simple product, but it is so well thought-out and engineered, and made such a positive impact in the overall experience in my theater.

[8.39 lb] These are the only plates I will buy for mounting projectors on a drop ceiling. The kit comes with everything you need and is very easy to install. I would recommend these to anyone doing projector installs on drop ceilings.

[Musk Green] I installed my projector mount to sit on my ceiling tile. It is looking great and very firm on the ceiling.
