Projector Screen Brick Wall

[Floor mounted] This screen was installed in a small conference room with an NEC projector. The screen can be wall or ceiling mounted, and this flexibility came in handy when we had to switch to a ceiling mount at the last moment. The screen presents very well, and is unobtrusive when retracted. The tensioning system works nicely, and we didn't have to change any of the factory settings for the drop. I would have liked to see some additional mounting holes for attaching the screen to studs in the wall, so the installer has more options for wall mounting.

[Native: 16:10] For years, our old projector used the back wall of the church as a screen. The black parts of videos were washed out, even with the lights off. We got an Ambient Light Rejecting screen, which made the dark parts much deeper, but, unfortunately, it also darkened skin tones and colors. This new Epson Powerlite has enough punch (4000 ANSI lumens) that the ALR screen feels like a TV set. Skin tones and colors are accurate, and the dark portions are really dark, like they're supposed to be. The mounting of the projector was fixed, and initially I was disappointed that the throw distance was different from the old projector. At the tightest zoom, the image was larger than the screen by about 8 inches on a side. It was then that I discovered that the digital zoom had negative numbers and I was able to shrink the image to the size of the screen, There is a slight 8 glow on the wall around the screen which is hardly noticeable. I can see it because I know it's there, but no one else has mentioned it yet. The remote control is powerful enough to bounce its signal of the wall to activate the ceiling mounted projector. The old projector required exact aiming from in front of it to turn it on or off, The remote control also has specific buttons for each source which makes changing from VGA to HDMI really simple. Overall, I don't think I could be happier about this purchase. It has given our church a much better video experience.

[1x Bag] This is an easy to use, easy to transport plaster & brick wall. I was able to quickly satisfy a client looking for a grundge feel to their portrait without having to scout out a location, transport my equipment and deal with the Northeast weather in March. Natural looking shadow on the brick gave a realistic look to the shoot. I purchased all four Urban backgrounds and they all give my clients the look they are seeking while making things easy for me by keeping everything in studio.

[4 MB] I've used several of these to mount PCs on the wall. The micro PCs fit nicely and the power brick storage is a huge plus.

[Stripes Yellow] I hung this against the wall with just some regular nails in the grommets. I use it for a web show and it looks just like real brick on the camera. No complaints.

[Metal] I have attached this holder to a brick wall. And it feels very secure to hang up the backgrounds. I have a 20 pounds background tube included hanged on it. It work perfect with the Varidrive Drive with Metal Chain. That is sold separately.

[1x Bag] Just used this for photo shoot last week and I love how the background looks. It really looks like a brick wall with missing plaster.

[Black] This remote antenna greatly improved the range of our transmitter. We use the PPA transmitter for those in our congregation needing translation. Using the provided antenna screwed into the top of the transmitter our range was only 1/3 of our meeting area. We climbed in the attic and put this down next to the wall of our meeting area. Easy to do. We now have coverage of the entire building. Our building is made of bricks. The signal used to have to go through at least one brick wall to get to those wearing the headsets. This antenna now lays on the rafters above the brick walls. The headsets can now receive the transmissions throughout all of our meeting area (instead of only 1/3 of it) plus all hallways and restrooms. They can even hear from inside of some of the classrooms around our building. I would say that even if this were to be laying on the ground near the transmitter, it would give better range than the provided antenna. This purchase and effort to place this remote antenna was well worth the time, effort, and payment.
