Projector Wireless Screen Cast

[Download] Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

[Double] The quality can not be beat. The colors in print match my screen whereas I was using another brand it had a blue cast to it whenever I printed. I buy the 17 x 22 sheets to cut them up to smaller sizes, as needed. My printer can not take any larger size sheets so these do the trick.

[16:9] My Shimbol on-camera monitor is brand new, so I’m still testing it. The cast aluminum build is really solid and feels like pro gear, surprising in this price range. The touch screen is responsive and the image is great, with many adjustment options. Also runs fine off my camera battery’s 12v tap. Monitor arrived in a “cute” case with a loop-strap, a solid shoe mount, two HDMI cables, a plastic screen protector, a polishing cloth and a manual. No power connector, though. We’ll see how long before the shine wears off. But my first impression is thumbs-up.

[10 oz (286 g)] This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

[230 W] This is by far the best projector we have purchased...and we have purchased and used a number of them. The auto-focus feature is hands-down worth it. The wireless connectivity was a breeze to setup along with the personalized logo. No complaints for this at all. The brightness is excellent and the auto-keystone feature is also a bonus for a portable projector. It came with a bag for portability. Top Notch!
