Quality And Cheap Lavalier Microphone

No news, there, really. But head- or ear- worn microphones had always been too expensive or heavy. I have found this light-weight, unimposing microphone to be a perfect solution. The sound quality is excellent, the hardware convenient.

[Brown] Sennheiser ME 2 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is one of my favorite microphone that caches the sound of my acoustic musical instruments while I play and sing. I don't have to use two microphones while interviewing someone.

[Omnidirectional] Except for the awful pop screen which is waaay too easy to lose,this is an exceptional microphone for the price.I highly recommend seeking out other pop screens for this double ended lavalier microphone - which u will need 2 of...Otherwise,I have no complaints.Sound quality compares to that of much higher priced Rode lavalier microphones,which also stop working properly a little after 6 months..I haven't had that much time to test the Sony mic,but it will get plenty of testing.I do outdoor wildlife recordings in all kinds of weather conditions and this mic works very well,though it does require other pop screens..

[48 V] Starting off as a young producer I needed a cheap but also not a cheaply made microphone. I found that the MCA SP1 can offer quality without having to dig into your wallet to purchase. I'm running two of these into my PreSonus AudioBox and the quality for me is great. Only thing I wish came with it would've been a shock mount, but you can easily fix this by going to the MXL website and looking at the shockmounts there. There are no real cons for me, I'm not too picky as of now, just starting off in recording what more could I ask.

[0.015 lb] Using this with a Sennheiser wireless lavalier mic. The mic came with a cheap plastic tie clip that pinched the wire to the point of destruction. Great quality in medal, holds wire securely.

[End Address] I am glad that I purchased the Sennheiser MZW102 windscreen for my MKE2 gold lavalier microphone. You will not hear and pops or scratching noises when you use this windscreen. I highly recommend it for older MKE2 gold lavalier microphones.
