[Yes] Needed to adapt RCA outputs on a device to an xlr 1/4 combo jack inputs on another device. This cable did the job nicely, without introducing more points of failure (an unbalanced 1/4 input to balanced xlr output device). Worked very well since my input device has the combo jacks. 5 |

[Gold] I needed a proper way to convert and feed a pro level XLR audio out of a powered portable PA speaker / mixer main line out to a RCA input of my assistive listening transmitter in a Church for my hard of hearing folks that for some reason only has a RCA input jack. I never had any luck with those simple adapters or a cable with a XLR on one end and a RCA on the other! To do it right I needed to not only convert the jacks but also convert the impedance. This is a quality very well built product featuring top rated Neutrik brand RCA and XLR jacks in a nice aluminum enclosure and an impedance matching transformer that allowed me to properly convert the signal. Yes, this is more expensive than the other simple adapters but I wanted pro results and pro results is what I got. Perfect for my situation. 5 |

[10 Kilohms] Delivers everything you'd want from a mixer this size - USB I/O, 4 XLR inputs (a rarity on something this compact!), and plenty of 1/4 and RCA connectors. The sound coming out of all of that is also no slouch - certainly worthy of the Soundcraft name. I can find no reason not to eagerly recommend this piece of hardware! 5 |

[0.31" / 7.87 mm] The DTI box has the RCA inputs I needed for running a unbalanced subwoofer out RCA jack to the balanced XLR input jack on my Crown CE 1000 subwoofer amp. The Ebtech HE-2-XLR does not have RCA inputs. The hum is gone in my home theater room. 5 |

[4] Amazing flexibility. I'm using a single CDI 1000 amp to run a string mono of 70v outdoor speakers AND a massive outdoor 8ohm sub. Plenty of power but the magic is in the DSP chip that allows you to EQ and cross over the amp however you desire. When I first installed, the default internal crossovers were used and then I hooked up a laptop with the free Crown System Architect Software and then--WOW. After every thing was EQ'd and the crossover tweaked it's like listening to live outdoor music which is exaxtly what I was going for. *Note that the amp is designed to use balanced XLR inputs so you will lose 6db with an unbalanced RCA siganl or you can use a Pro Match to convert RCA--XLR and regain full output* 5 |
