Recording Studio With Grand Piano

[Solid-State] I would recommend them. I am using two to record may grand piano.

[9 x 7.3 x 2.85"] I'm using this on the inside of a grand piano lid. The sound is awesome - so clear! Way better than the microphone I was using before.

[3x MIDI] We bought this digital piano for our grand daughter and we were not dismayed as this piano does really have a superb sound and finish quality.. Assembling the piano was no hassle as the instructions were clearly describe by the manufacturer (Roland).. Also the delivery person was kind enough to place the package inside the garage.. [Polar Pattern] I use these mics on my grand piano, my guitar, and my violin. I would definitely recommend them as an instrument mic pair.

[Condenser] We use this mic inside our grand piano with the cover closed. Set up is so easy - we can leave it inside and just attach the XLR cable to the external box, mounted on the dolly. And the sound is excellent - much better than the mic on a boom with the cover partly open. Because the lid is closed, there is much less unwanted sound from the rest of the band. Overall, an excellent product.

[Side Address] I use a pair of these mics to record a grand piano. The sensitivity and range can make it challenging to find the right placement, especially with a piano that can make a lot of extraneous noise like an older action or loud damper release, but once you find the sweet spot these are really great. I've also used one for VOs in documentary work I do as a filmmaker and it's surprisingly good with a decent pre. Super good construction and shock mount, case, etc. Overall, I think these are the best deal going in a low price condenser mic and are a steal at the price.

[Yes] That's it. Sounds great. Plays like a grand piano - action is on the heavy side, but I like that. Just a few sound options but you can blend two voices for a thicker pad for fun. The main acoustic piano is very nice. Also makes a great controller and sound source as it has the traditional MIDI input and output.
