[0.6 lb] This is the genuine ELPLP89 Replacement Projector Lamp that comes with your Epson 5040UB Projector (and maybe others in the Epson line - I'm not sure). B&H's price is the lowest around, even better than Epson itself on this item. Mine went right to work and replaced a bulb that Epson is going to replace for free, but I decided that having a back-up would be the clever thing to do so I don't have to wait a day or two or more for that replacement. This one works as well as the original (actually better since the original was obviously a lemon straight from the factory). B&H gave me two day shipping free and I had it on the second day after ordering. The one from Epson is coming ground and I might see it by Dec 23 if I'm lucky (I could have paid for quicker shipping of course). Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and with B&H's amazing holiday shipping!!!

The old lamp came out easily and the new lamp went into the projector just as easily. The picture quality is fantastic. Nice to find a genuine OEM lamp for my Sony projector. Definitely recommend this as your replacement lamp even though the price is higher than some you can find out there, this is a high quality replacement product.
