[Canon RF] I lost the original cap for the RF 1.4 Extender and after searching the internet for an original replacement I found this one of the B&H website and even though I am in England I ordered it and it was delivered within a week which is fantastic service. This is a genuine Canon replacement

[1/2" Bayonet] The Extender RF 2x does what you'd expect it to do - doubles the focal length of the lens and doubles the minimum f-number. Optical quality is good; when used together with an RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens, there's only a small loss of sharpness, and some of that may be unavoidable due to diffraction. Autofocus continues to work with the extender, but image stabilization can become unreliable.

[Yes] Have used it with my Sony A9, Sigma 150-600 sport with 1.4 extender and it handled the weight with no problems.

[Yes] It went on very easy. It fit perfect, It did what it was supposed to do, it kept the rain off the camera. All in all. I gave it a five, do to the fact i used my 1.4 extender and it work great. John J. Coleman

[0.6 lb] I wanted as small a case that would hold and protect a Canon 100-400mm IS-2 zoom lense with the 1.4xIII extender attached and this case does the job perfectly. Though I own a large collection of lenses and equipment, I try to carry as little as possible as weight and complexity greatly inhibit utility. My go to system is simply a 7DMKII with a 15-85 IS lense and the above 100-400 lense with the 1.4 extender which gives excellent telephoto and very good macro results. Light, simple, and always ready. Add special lenses (ultrawide or long telephoto) only when needed.

[0.21 lb] All my lens works extender 1.4 III works, even my Tamron 24-70 G2 and 150-600 G2 works with little by hiccups but nothing major . You gonna be surprised with image quality. Eye detector needs to be more faster.

[Yes] This bag appears to be well made, and certainly fits my 600 mm Canon, 1.4 extender, adapter, and Canon R5 camera. Straps are comfortable and it rides well on my back. Hard to believe that packs that cost 3x as much could do a better job.

[Zipper] I use this backpack with my Canon EF 500mm, with the 1.4x extender attached. Before I owned this bag, I would carry the lens in a smaller backpack with the camera body and the tripod in two other bags (3 in total). Needless to stay, it was an awkward and frustrating arrangement. With this bag, the whole setup can be easily carry within one secure place. The quality is top notch and with correct usage, I hardly ever feel the weight of the equipment. Do note though that this is way too big to ever be allowed as carryon on a plane

[2.285 lb] I chose the EF 35 1.4 m2 over the RF 35 1.4 VCM after reading reviews. I believe I made the right choice as the reviews seem trustworthy.

[Black] I like to photograph birds in flight with telephoto lenses. I use the Canon RF 100-500mm w RF 1.4X Extender and a Canon RF 600mm F4 with either the RF 1.4X or 2X extenders. Due to the narrow angle of view with telephoto lenses, it is difficult to locate birds in flight. The Olympus Dot Sight mounts to the camera hot shoe and after distance calibration; makes tracking birds easy. With the 600mm F4 you will have to put a hot shoe extender on first to elevate the sight above the lens profile. This is highly invaluable for either birds or other fact moving subjects when tracking with a telephoto lens.
