Ricoh Wg 30W Digital Camera

[1] I bought this to charge the proprietary battery that comes with the Ricoh WG-5 camera; the charger which comes with the camera works through USB with the battery in the camera. I also bought a Watson equivalent battery pack for that camera, which has worked well so far, but I haven't had a lot of use for the camera yet.

[Zipper] I was looking for a replacement for my Pentax WG II that I have used for over 10 years and loved for my adventure style travel. It was the perfect size and took great pics. Not easy to do in this day and age where everyone just uses a cell phone. I was able to get the camera, a case, AND a 128GB SD card for the same price that Amazon charges for the camera alone! I haven't gotten the opportunity to use it yet on a trip, but I am looking forward to it! Thanks B & H Photo.

[0.18 lb] Not much to say. I don't have any equipment to see if it's giving the whole 30W or not, so I can just say, it works.

[Aluminum] I've used these for over length cat6 cable runs in a school parking lot. The camera had 4 sensors and night IR. It also required 30W PoE at the camera. You will likely need to get a larger PoE injector for long runs that require PoE. I used a 60W PoE injector to run a 30W PoE camera out at about 600 feet. Need 60W PoE at the device, use the 90W PoE injector. Additionally, you will need one of these units for EACH side.

[Shoe Mount] I love this camera it is the best of the best for a digital camera.
