[Mono] The Rode Lavalier Mic picks up your voice exceptionally even just using with my smart phone. It blocks out some background noise depending on the volume of the background noise. All in all was very satisfied. The only negative is the exceptionally short wire. I had to go and buy the extension cable so I am not restricted to such a short distance from the camera.

[0.2 oz / 5.0 g] Purchased this headset to use with my Rode Lavalier microphone. Works well and holds microphone in place. I use for teaching yoga inside and outside.

[Frequency] I don't know much about this stuff but I record video on my iphone using the Rode Wireless Go and Rode Lavalier Go and my microphone would blow out sometimes when I talked louder. The rep at BH said this could fix that and give me slightly better sound quality. It seems to be doing exactly that as my mic isn't blowing out as hard as before.

[Yes] I use this with the Bubblebee Lav Concealer for Rode Lavalier (with my RODE Wireless GO II lav) and it works great. Good adhesion, easy application and removal.

[Brown] Sennheiser ME 2 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is one of my favorite microphone that caches the sound of my acoustic musical instruments while I play and sing. I don't have to use two microphones while interviewing someone.

[16 / 24-Bit ] I like this microphone. I use it with the Rode Wireless system and I'm happy with the result.

[0.2 oz / 5.0 g] I bought this to replace the cord on my Rode Lavalier that I used a few times a week and lasted a few years, the cord was looking bad and showing some threads bit still worked great. I have two Rode mics and love them both.

[300 mAh ] I wanted a wired Lavalier that worked with my iPhone for my YouTube tutorial videos, etc. I was recommended the rode Lavalier, which is slightly more expensive than this one. The rode had a tremendous amount of hiss and the found quality was awful compared to this azden lav! Nice clean sound and plenty of cord to attach to my phone in my pocket. Highly recommended!

[0.13 lb] The in-camera mic on my ag-hmc40 is ok, but the Rode stereo unit is much, much better. A shotgun mic would be better to pull speech out of the background noise, but they are not stereo, and my budget is for one good mic. The pin plug is fine for my uses. If I ever switch over to using XLR, I can always use an adapter to update it. The sound quality is high, and it floats on rubber o-ring bands. It comes with the furball, dead-cat wind cover which works excellently. At $., its the best on camera mic for general use. If I want better long range speech quality, I think I will invest in a wireless lavalier setup to compliment this mic with an XLR setup. I need to purchase the case made for this model so it won't bang around in my video backpack when not in use. Stay away from buying cheap microphones. At this pricepoint, I consider this the minimum quality I would ever think of buying. After all you wouldn't put a cheap attachment lens over your your expensive prime zoom lens, and spoil the quality. The Rode SVM is an excellent general mic for all purpose use. A shotgun mic is for news type use, a lavalier is for someone you know, and a stereo mic is just a great upgrade from the cheesy in camera mics.
