Rode Xlr Microphone

[6.5 x 3 x 3"] This microphone has been the best purchase ever! I had a Rode NKG-2 and after a year and a hlaf the XLR connector begaun to pull out of the bottom. Then on it's final shoot upon disconnecting it, the wires pulled from the mic...and it ahsn't worked since. With this one having a seperate module for the battery I don't foresee this happening. not to mention the different sounds I am able to pick up on, and the extremely good clarity it provides. The Rode couldn't come close.

[0.08 lb] I believe the quality of both the Rode microphone and extension cord are worth the cost.

[0.255 lb] It's always better to use one cable vs using a cable and an adapter. I use this to connect a Rode GO to my XLR. In the past, I would use the Rode coiled cable and an adapter into the XLR, now I just use this. Would prefer if it was coiled

[Black] I use this to have 25' between my Rode microphone and my Zoom recorder. It works fine, no complaints.

[0.045 lb] When buying the Rode VideoMic X, there is really only one option for XLR cables. We're very lucky that these are such high quality, and produce perfect results. The length is a little short, so if you want to record to an external recorder, you essentially need to mount the recorder to the mic. But the connections are rock solid, the cable itself is very high quality and overall im very impressed with the audio quality.
