Rokinon 12Mm E Mount

[FUJIFILM X] I can't say anything bad about this adapter. I can use now my 12mm Rokinon X-mount on my Z50 and it works flawlessly.

[98.9°] I love this Rokinon 12mm lens! Even though it is manual focus, combined with focus peaking on my Sony a6000 it is teaching me not to rely so much on auto focus even with my other lenses. I recently went on a solo photo trip to New York and this was my go-to lens. Highly recommended.

[f/1.4] Moved on from a Rokinon 12mm F2 MF to this lens. Had business trip to Tokyo and picked this up locally. Pros: F1.4, super sharp in the center, absolutely great color rendition, nice bokeh (IMHO), silent and rapid AF, solid construction. Works well on Oly bodies. Cons: The price, of course, but you decide if it is worth it. As a hiker and an avid wide angle fan, this is my goto lens BUT the weight is HUGE compared with other MFT primes. I did not subtract any stars because it is lots of glass (low F) and metal construction. Just be aware that as you get older you WILL think about how much you want to lug that extra weight if you are doing mileage.

[12mm] tested it for 3 weeks now, took 100+ photos and very happy with it. I owned both Rokinon 12mm fisheye and Samyang 14mm lens. Both are affordable price with good quality. These photos were taken with D750. 12mm fisheye is a lot wider than 14mm.

[Manual Focus] I personally own the Rokinon 12mm and Laowa 9mm. Both of them are great lens but the 9mm hands down has much better distortion control and so much sharper than my Rok. I am keeping my Laowa as my go-to lens for different gigs.

[f/2.8] I needed an ultrawide lens, this Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 was on sale, and so I went for it. I'm glad I did. The lens is manual, but at f/5.6, f/8 and the lens' focus set at or near infinity distance-wise, everything's in focus and the results are excellent. In most situations autofocus isn't needed - maybe AF might be at 2.8 with a close subject, but by the same token, this isn't the type of lens that's geared toward "bokeh" type shooting. And in any event, it's easy to focus manually, especially with my A7RII using focus peaking. This is an excellent lens to be creative with.

[3 x 3 x 1"] It adapted very well to my lens, I put it on a 12mm Rokinon for my Fuji and it fit perfectly, I still don't know how long the glue lasts.

[Leica M] This lens was a replacement for my 12mm M-mount (using E mount adapter) which suffered from severe vignetting, purple discoloration, and chromatic aberration as it was not designed for a digital sensor. This lens still suffers from some vignetting from about 50% in and has a slow and even falloff but it's far more natural and fixable in post. Chromatic aberration is also mostly gone. Manual focus is easy. The wide lens has a huge depth of field even at f5.6 and most e-mount cameras have both manual focus assist (digital zoom) and peaking so those should be turned on. There's no Lightroom lens preset for this yet but since the lens data is stored in EXIF it should be able to pickup the right profile automatically in a future Adobe update.
