[USB Bus Power] We are now short a drummer on occasion at church and so I needed to do drum tracks. There are Roland drums at church and I also have a Roland kit at home. I have a nice Steinberg audio interface for my iPad 6 running Cubasis but thought why not just use MIDI to record/edit/fix/playback the drum tracks. The Steinberg while great for audio (and MIDI) is kind of big in comparison and a cabling hassle with the additional Lightning camera interface and two wall warts. This IK is awesome. Just the Lightning cable between it and the iPad, and one MIDI cable to either the home (recording) or church (playback) Roland. That's it. Sure it takes battery from the iPad but that's no problem. For me it's a feature to not need a wall wart. I am always recharging multiple devices near-daily anyway.

[4.95 lb] I was looking for a gig bag for my Roland FC-300 Midi Controller and ran across this alternative to Roland's way over-priced proprietary bags. The FC-300 fits perfectly in this bag and has an extra zippered storage area in the front for cables and power adapter. This is a perfect bag at the best price I could find at B&H. Very happy with this purchase.

[49 Mini Keys] I have a midi studio and was looking for a small pad controller. I had an Akai MPD 18 that I hated. You had to hit the pads so hard, your fingers would hurt. I found the Korg Nano Pad2 and I love it. It has great pad sensitivity. Plug and play with Live and other software I have.Is it plastic, yes, but well made for $

[Gold] I will never use another MIDI cable unless it is the Black Series from Roland

[1.28 lb] I use this product with a Roland Boss Drum Machine. It frees my hands when playing live with the drum machine.

[100 dB at 1 kHz] LOVE THESE. Cheaper than the Roland drum headphones and excellent sound quality.

[2 ] First of all: I ordered it on B&H and arrived the next day, free shipping!!! Wow! The Arturia Keystep is tremendously versatile and powerful controller. Everything is done right here! Plus, it's built very well!!! If you have hardware/software synths, a good computer (or two), a couple of iPads latest generations, buy it and you'll be more than satisfied! I use mine through Roland Juno-G, Roland GR-20, various laptops, iPads, iMac -- triggering lots of software, and I have to tell you that I can't stop using it! Don't forget one very important thing: it has a conventional MIDI IN/OUT, plus the USB, which also sends MIDI. Look around and try to find out how many controllers offer that sort of versatility?!? And for that price!!!??? Two things I have to figure out: how to save parameters from the Midi Control Center to the Keystep, and if I can plug it in into a battery (RAV) and only send the MIDI to an iPad, in order not to burn too fast through the iPad's battery. Other than that, look at the title of this post!!!
