[Passive] Basic stand with heavy enough base.

[Steel] I am using this stand for the kick drum and smaller amps. The heavy base keeps the positioning of the microphone very stable.

[5/8"-27 Male] This microphone stand is being used as a tabletop stand very close to a person talking. A panel of presenters sit at a long table facing the audience and I needed to have an SM58 right in the face of each person. The stand works very well for that and it's all black, blends well with my stands from a different manufacturer and is an all-around team player. I'd trust the stand to work in a whole lot of different situations too. The base is fairly heavy without being dangerous or a hassle to carry around. The base is heavy enough to be able to extend the boom a fair distance from the base and to some extent, off axis...it's really about what you'd expect. Incidently, the base is slightly lighter than the stands from another brand that I have, so I can offer lighter stands if I need to. Nice product. At first, I thought it was a cheapie made out of not-so-good materials, but the more I checked it out and used it, I've decided it's a good product worth having. And it gets the job done!

[Black] A simple and sturdy microphone stand. The base is sufficiently heavy to keep the stand from falling over. Also, it as a very easy to use quick release adjust system (no unscrewing/tightening). All in all, an excellent option if you're looking for a sturdy, yet inexpensive, microphone stand.

[5/8"-27 Male] The base is heavy, it's very sturdy, looks decent and it was the most inexpensive stand that B&H sells. What's not to like?

[" cm] Well made. Threads are clean, and assembled easily on my microphone. Base is heavy enough to accomodate a vintage electro-voice 664, and remain stable, with some room to spare.

[Solid-State] I used to keep my microphone on the table, but all the rats and other varmint were really stanking the thing up. Now, thanks to its surprisingly heavy base and petite boom arm, I can keep the mic ABOVE the desk, close to my mouth at ALL times! I'm going to save a load on windscreens!!!

[5/8"-27 Male] picked this up as an ultra portable, tabletop microphone holder (ie: didn't want something with a big heavy base) - this works great.
