Samson Go Mic Portable Usb Condenser Microphone Stand

[1" (2.5 cm)] I use this mic stand with the Yeti THX-Certified USB Condenser Microphone, and even though the mic is quite heavy, the mic stand is still stable and secure. It's also easy to adjust. Setting it up and taking it down are fairly simple as well. From my experience, for people from 5'1 to 5'10, it worked fine, and when we were playing instruments, it was easily adjustable to a lower height.

[None] The microphone works well with my Samson boom arm (38) , and works well over USB. I don't have an audio interface for XLR at the moment but it seems you can get a little bit more quality out of the mic through XLR. The noise rejection is very good, and so much better than a cardioid mic. I use this to work from home, and even when kids are running upstairs and my chair squeaks, no one can hear. Shure's software is also quite good, and has a lot of customization like profiles you can set and different effects.

[0.04 lb] This fits perfectly over my Samson - G-Track Pro USB Microphone.

[Cardioid] I previously used a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone for my Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice recognition software and it worked very good. But the Samson Go Mic has superseded my expectations of it being a little better than the Logitech. Excellent microphone for the price. Go Mic is positioned approximately 14 inches in front of my mouth and 1 inch lower.

[10 Hz to 22 kHz] This plugs into our Samson portable speaker and syncs to the mic. They do the job.

[6.375 lb] After my Samson USB MIC continued to give me connectivity problems, I purchased the AT mic. It worked immediately and came with many cables to provide versatility.

[1.965 lb] I can't believe the playback quality that I get from this little mic. The Go Mic beats all other portable mics hands down. If your on a budget, this little mic delivers for under 40.00. I use it on the road but it competes with my 150.00 home studio mic. From 3 ft away it picks up my acoustic guitar beautifully. Don't usually do reviews but for the price, the Go Mic is exceptional.

[Stand Base] Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

[22 x 17 x 7"] I use this as an insert on a mic channel to help EQ a sensitive condenser microphone. Works great!
