[90%] I bought this because I had an old IDE hard drive laying around for years that I needed to clean the data out of. Here is something to keep in mind... if you are connecting an old IDE drive up, be sure that the jumpers are set properly (if applicable). For some odd reason, one of my jumpers was in the wrong position, so I thought the adapter wasn't working at first. Once I noticed the jumper and fixed it, everything worked fine. 5 |

[5.6 x 4.3 x 1"] This hard drive replaced my 256 GB SSD, of the same make but an older drive. Boot times on the computer are about 4 seconds on, 4 seconds off, so fast my work computer (that also has an SSD) doesn't even get to the Bitlocker password before this one is fully on. 2 TB of storage is a great amount for photo storage (heavy camera user here) and light gaming, couldn't be happier with this drive! 5 |
