Coming from a 32" curved I have to say I was worried the ultra wide would be to much monitor but I absolutely love it. Games look great and having a 165hz refresh rate paired with a powerful computer I can say my games look better than ever. Even playing on my Racing simulator the games seem to fit perfect with the curved monitor to really make you feel like your in the drivers seat 10 out of 10 recommend If you are in the market!

The monitor came nicely packaged with the essential cables to connect this beast of a monitor to my high end Rig. I couldn’t wait but fired up a game of GTA and was amazed how much more I can see within the game. The 240 Hz just made it so buttery smooth playing on this 49inch UltraGear Monitor. As nice as the monitor is for gaming, I also love how much screen real estate I have now. I can multitask like never before with Adobe Photoshop, browsing the internet, Word and so much more. On my old monitor I would have to move apps around in order to adjust for productivity. Now that’s in the past thanks to this extremely Ultra-Wide monitor. [81°] I wanted to try a wide fisheye, and the price was right for this Laowa. It is super sharp, as I expected with an ultra wide. The angle of view is 210°, so it captures some things behind the plane of the lens, like your feet and hands. I crop these out. It is a little difficult to push the camera out in front of you to minimize these distractions, but flipping out the LCD on the back of the camera helps.
