Samsung Atmos Soundbar Rear Speakers

[150 W Program ] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW-S60D 5.0ch Soundbar has been a fantastic upgrade for my home entertainment setup. Initially, I purchased it to replace my existing Samsung soundbar, and the Dolby Atmos support, combined with the compatibility with my existing subwoofer and rear speakers, significantly enhanced my movie-watching experience. However, the real magic happened when I paired it with my new Samsung G8 OLED monitor. The soundbar's compact size fits perfectly under the monitor, and the sound quality is simply outstanding for both movies and video games. The Dolby Atmos adds an incredible level of immersion, making game sounds feel incredibly realistic and engaging. Connectivity has been seamless with both my Samsung TV and monitor, which is a huge plus. The SmartThings app is a great substitute for the lack of an LED display, offering convenient control over various settings. While HDMI passthrough would have been a nice addition, I understand the constraints in this form factor. Overall, the Samsung HW-S60D has exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is superb, the Dolby Atmos is immersive, and the compatibility is excellent. It's a fantastic all-around soundbar that I highly recommend, especially if you're looking to enhance your gaming or movie experience.

[CEC, eARC] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Q990D is still the best soundboard solution out there, not only does it provide you with the best possible immersive experience with Atmos/DTS:X capabilities, but it looks great doing so. The design is unchanged from previous generation, but that's not a bad thing at all, it's a great looking soundboard and ascetically pleasing. Blends in very well with most if not all decors. It slots in under our 85 QLED utilizing the Q-Symphony mode. It engulfs the room with sound from all directions. Top middle sides and rear, it really draws you into the experience of being there when watching any content. Especially more so when Atmos enabled soundtrack is played back during a movie. There is not bad seat in the house, you can almost see the sounds you hear, which is a strange thing to explain, its just so good that you are lost in the movie. The rear speakers are loud, and really add that extra layer od depth. If paired with a Samsung TV you can also connect the soundbar wire free, no need for HDMI connection, you can utilize the WiFi connection to pair the TV very easily. I opted to use the e-Arc port but both sounded about the same, I was not able to tell the difference. One of the best features is the SmartThings integration, which allows full control and adjustments to the speakers and EQs. Also enable Smart Voice assurance and SmartThings hub. The sound modes pair very nicely with the set, the AVA really does make a difference with voices and dialog enhancement, you never miss a dialog. SpaceFit Pro really just dials in everything for you and ensures that you get the best sound possible. Overall you cannot go wrong with the Samsung Q990D as the king of Atmos Soundbars.

[1.795 lb] These are great as rear speakers in a Dolby Atmos system and, to my ears, provide more impressive upward sound than the Arc. They also sound great listening to spatial audio music. The only downside is that they are nearly $1000 for the pair after tax.

[+21 dBu] I Used this amp to expand my RZ50 from 7.2.2 to 7.2.4 so now I can run 4 Atmos speakers and it sounds so much better. I was missing the back atmos now I have full 360 degree sound. This amp sounds great . I have it powering my klipsch RP-600M as my surround rear speakers plug into the RCA pre output. Then you take and wire your rear height/ atmos speakers into the surround rear speakers positive and negative post . Then when you set your speaker configurations to 7.2.4 it gives you a second height channel but takes away your rear surround and that’s why you use this 2 channel amp for your rear surrounds .

[46 x 26 x 15"] I bought two pairs of these, one for the main L & R, and one for the rear surround L & R. Obviously, this setup also provided me with font and rear L & R Dolby Atmos. These speakers sounded so good that my wife commented on how realistic everything (especially musical instruments) sounded. I'm a professional soundman, so it wasn't like she was hearing good equipment for the first time. Here's the rub. We have thirteen foot high ceilings, so the "bounce" from the Dolby Atmos up-firing speakers was pretty weak. If you have normal height ceilings, this shouldn't be a problem.

[24 lb] Sound bar sounds amazing. Impressed how much bass the soundbar alone has. I also bought the sub and 2 rear speakers and the whole set up sounds amazing. Definitely recommend.

[40 Hz to 160 Hz] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We hooked the Phillips Dolby Atmos Soundbar up to the television in our bedroom and are so happy that we did! For years we have been using the speakers from the television and thought it sounded ok. Now that we have the Phillips soundbar we realize what we have been missing out on! The sound is fantastic and super clear. We put the wireless subwoofer at the back of the room so we have the thumping part comes from behind making you feel like you are in a movie theater. The soundbar was very easy to install and we have it sitting right below the television. We have always been a fan of the Phillips brand and this product is holding up to their quality reputation. We would recommend the Phillips- Dolby Atmos Soundbar to anyone is the market for a big upgrade to their tv's sound system.

[5.1.2-Channel] We have the Samsung S95D TV paired with the Samsung Q-series 5.1.5 HW-Q800D soundbar. They work great together; we love it when the TV and the soundbar are in the Q-Symphony sound mode. In the Q-Symphony sound mode we are utilizing both the TV speakers and Soundbar speakers together. The sound is awesome. The only thing that we would like to see in the near future is a software upgrade that would allow the Auto Volume control feature to be used when in the Q-Symphony mode. The Auto Volume control feature Is not available when using an external speaker. The Auto Volume feature equalizes the sound automatically so that the volume level remains the same when you change between channels and video sources.
