[Touch-fastener] I sold my 500mm.G model to get this, I'm so glad I did!!. I shoot about 98% handheld...very little tripod use. The lighter weight up front makes a substantial difference. I also believe the VR is improved, works well. I'm getting more keepers, so to me it's well worth it. If you shoot handheld and thinking about it, just do it, I Love this lens.

[15.73 lb] The white model *does not* include the grommet mount, despite what B&H's listing details say here. Only the black and aluminum do, per Ergotron's website. This is perhaps due to white being less suitable for offices? Nevertheless I find the white quite handsome even with a black monitor. Arm is solid, nice build quality (white is metal not plastic), smooth adjustments, good reach with 34-inch ultrawide. Grommet mount can be purchased separately, model numbers 98-034 or 98-017.

[Simultaneous] I have a bunch of these Duo 98 and 198 V mount batteries, and this is a great charger for them, especially in the field. I use the little cheap chargers at the shop over night, but if I need to be recharging on the fly, this device really helps and speeds things up.

[0 to 100 ms] We replaced our old DriveRack PA with this newer model. More accurate room analysis. Much faster setup. Very happy with the results.

[Yes] I had an ELB400 with a Pro head, I could not shoot faster than 1/1250 without getting an ugly grading. This head came to solve my problem and expanding my horizons being able to shoot up to 1/8000. I loved buying this head.
