[3] The Auray Wireless Charger with Case for Rode Wireless GO and Wireless GO II has been a nice little wireless charger. It's compact, well-made, and comes with a little case so it's easy to toss in a bag and not worry about anymore. For my purposes, I only use this with a wireless charger and it works great. The fewer cords I deal with the better. I saw some comments on the cords and I have a bunch of USB A to C cords so I haven't run into any issues. All-in-all this works great for what I need it to do. [Standard] All the specs indicate line of sight range, but my need is for wireless transmission on a run & gun audience/stage camera for concerts and live events. I was worried it might not work if bodies got in the way or if the camera went around a corner or behind a bleacher, etc. Havent tested in a large audience yet, but I can go out of my office, close the door and get about 50 feet before receiving artifacts. Going down a staircase, connection is lost completely and it takes a while to reconnect. As long as the camera operator stops moving away when artifacts begin, this should work reliably for me. 5 |
