[Yes] I bought this Blu-Ray drive to replace an ASUS DRW-24B1ST Internal SATA 16X DVD Disc Rewriter which had failed after five years of use (the tray open and close mechanism was failing). And I wanted to play Blu-Ray discs. I sought the advice of a B&H employee via online chat and bought this unit because it had an identical form factor. The installation was easy, simply plugging it into the computer slot with the same cables. I did not realize that the drive did not come with software to play Blu-Ray discs. I bought a copy of Cyberlink PowerDVD 22 Ultra for that purpose. The new drive plays both CDs and Blu-Ray discs. So far, it works perfectly. 5 |

[Windows 10 ] Had problems finding a Blu-ray drive that worked on an M2 MacBook Pro. My first one I bought didn't work and I spent an hour in on-line chat with B&H support. They seamlessly organized a return in exchange for this one. Excellent support from B&H. This one works great! Keep in mind that Blu-ray is not native to MacOS so you'll have to purchase Blu-ray player software. Also note that 4K Ultra HD software on MacOS cost a small fortune, so I suggest buying only regular Blu-ray disks. 5 |
