Samsung Laptop 8Gb 1Tb

[3 oz / 85 g] I upgraded the original slow 5400 rpm SATA drive in my Toshiba Satellite S55-C5274 laptop with the Samsung 1TB EVO 2.5 SSD. I am thrilled with the huge performance gains with my Toshiba laptop. No, more long waits for my Toshiba laptop to boot. My laptop now boots in less than 10 seconds or less. Since the installation of the Samsung 1TB EVO 2.5 SSD, I no longer have to deal with disk performance bottlenecks that caused Windows 10 to perform like a snail. Make sure you install the Samsung Magician software. It is a great utility on the health and maintenance of your Samsung SSD. I am very pleased with my purchase.

[2.2 W (Active)] I bought my first Samsung Pro SSD around eight years ago, I think it was a 256GB. Then another for my other laptop. Then a 1TB and now a 2TB. Obviously very happy with all, I just keep needing more storage space and fortunately, Samsung keeps making larger SSDs.

[5 VDC] works perfect, I had a 1TB laptop drive and now it's a backup drive.

[2 Hours] We use this to power the C-Box with two 1TB Samsung 850 Pro SSDs on the Blackmagic Ursa, and can't wait to use it to fire up the C-Box on an Ursa Mini. Wish there was a 5V 5A version so folks can use a pair of 2TB SSDs on the Ursa, but for now the available amperage restricts us to 1TB drives (which is plenty of space for now, and you can't beat SSDs on price-per-gig anywhere near those write speeds).

[3.94 lb] Item worked for cloning a Samsung Pro 980 1TB drive. But item had been used. Box was not sealed and it was missing USB cable.

[256 GB] I needed an external USB-C that worked at least as fast as the Samsung T7 1TB at 10Gbps. The price was great, and for some reason, it's pink and I got it. It comes formatted in exFAT32, but it only takes seconds to change it to any other format and/or number of partitions.

[0.59 lb] In replacing my dead 1TB mechanical drive with a new Samsung 2TB Solid State Drive, I realized that the two were physically different. A simple stamped sheet metal adapter was in order. My brother who had vastly more experience in PC maintenance told me different. The new SSD was a real heat producer and the Sonnet Transposer Adapter was machined from a solid block of aluminum and also acted as a heatsink for the drive. The adapter & drive came very quickly from B&H . The install took about 2 minuets, everything aligned, the provided screws fit perfectly, combining the adapter and new drive. The assembly slid into place, replacing the old drive. The power supply & SATA wires now plugged into the adapters edge connectors without issues. The PC is back to work. I would recommend this for anyone upgrading to an SSD without hesitation.

[Aluminum] Got this to replace 4 hard drives in my 2008 MacPro when I got a new iMac. I added 4 Samsung 1TB 980 PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 Internal SSD Drives to it. Two are configured as 0, and the other two are JBOD for data storage. So far, fast and reliable.

[Plastic] It fits the Samsung 1TB 860 EVO SATA III 2.5 Internal SSD drive perfectly and work great as an external drive for photo editing on a Mac.
