[Horizontal Only] I purchased a gaming laptop from B&H and yet it had no DVD drive so I needed one to rip, burn and play movies. I used it for 2 months straight and experienced no problems. It copies (non-protected) DVD's and reads and writes flawlessly. Highly recommended. 5 |

[0.09 lb] My laptop had a 2TB Samsung EVO 970 plus system drive and I bought this WD black to put in a USB enclosure. But before I did, I ran Crystal Disk Mark on the Samsung, cloned the system to this drive and ran it again on this drive. My laptop is only PCI 3 so I wasn't expecting the stated performance, and no surprise it didn't make those numbers. But it did perform a little better than the Samsung and ran a bit cooler also. So I kept this WD black as the system drive and wiped the Samsung and put that one in the USB enclosure. Now it's a few weeks later and so far so good. 5 |
