[Yes, HDR10] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Viewfinity S7: A Professional's Dream The Samsung Viewfinity S7 is a sleek, modern monitor designed to elevate productivity and visual experiences. With its stunning 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 support, and an IPS panel, this monitor delivers exceptional image quality that's perfect for professionals in fields like graphic design, video editing, and photography. One of the most impressive features of the Viewfinity S7 is its color accuracy. The IPS panel ensures wide viewing angles without compromising color fidelity, making it ideal for collaborative work or presentations. The HDR10 compatibility further enhances the visual experience, delivering deeper blacks, brighter whites, and more vibrant colors. In terms of design, the Viewfinity S7 is a minimalist masterpiece. Its thin bezels and sleek lines create a modern aesthetic that complements any workspace. The adjustable stand allows for optimal viewing angles and ergonomic comfort, reducing eye strain during long hours of work. Connectivity options are plentiful, with HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C ports ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. The USB-C port even supports power delivery, allowing you to charge your laptop while connected to the monitor. While the Viewfinity S7 is undoubtedly a high-quality monitor, there are a few minor drawbacks. The refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, which might not be ideal for gamers or those who require the fastest possible response times. 5 |

[Yes, 2x 2 W] Awesome IPS monitor. One of the best IPS I've seen over the last 10 years. This could be a symbol of peak IPS before OLED tech swamps the market. PLUSSES: - Great out of the box experience. It just works. sRGB mode looks pretty good and colors appear saturated. Bright enough too. - 260hz works. No DSC needed. Frametimes are jittery at 260hz, but there's also a 250hz mode that works better. - G-Sync works quite well up to 240hz with minimal tearing. Very good implementation. I can't say the same with other monitors. For 240hz monitors, OLED included, I often had to cap FPS at 220 or lower to make G-Sync stop tearing. - Low input lag. Responsive feeling. - Power supply is integrated into the back of the panel. No power brick. - The matte coating is not too aggressive. I've seen a lot worse. This is tame. - Professional looking design from the front. MINUSES: - IPS glow. Backlight bleed seems to be inescapable with IPS, even this panel. The glow starts at the corners then slowly creeps around. For now, the center of my panel has no glow. - Bad contrast. Bad contrast seems to always be a thing with IPS. - ELMB sync doesn't work well. I didn't care. - HDR performance is mid at best. OVERALL: This thing slaps for a monitor priced under $400. It's a relief to find a banger IPS monitor that just works. Don't have to deal with the gimmicks of early-gen OLED monitors. 5 |

[Apple A13Bionic] it's a 27 IPS panel. comparable to some others. the build quality (materials, fit and finish) is better than any other. But the price is a lot more too. It's a nice monitor for apple ecosystem users. works flawlessly, looks pretty sharp. I'd like it a lot more if it were about $500 cheaper. 5 |

[3440 x 1440] Great monitor for gaming and productivity. Being an IPS panel the colors are great but with the downsides of having less contrast when compared to a VA panel. Pick your poison I guess. Overall I am very happy after having switched from a Samsung G9 which while impressive was just too big for my desk. 5 |

[Yes, Kensington] This is a super sharp and vibrant fast ips panel. There’s built in speakers which can be useful but don’t sound the best but this monitors strong point is the 240(native) and 260(oc) refresh rate. At this resolution and refresh rate every game is crystal clear and very responsive. If you pc can handle this monitor it’s a beats and well worth the money 5 |

[Adaptive-Sync] Wow. I am coming from a 27 165hz IPS Panel, and this screen has blown me away. I am loving every minute of it! You can't go wrong. Buy now. 5 |

[16:9] I had a square monitor go out and needed a replacement. This fit perfectly, and the IPS panel is a lot nicer than the one it replaced. Dont have a longevity rating on it, but our average Dell monitor tends to last a long, long, long time. We usually replace them to get a bigger monitor before they wear out and give up. 5 |

[IPS-Type LCD] I bought this as a display to use while coding, and discovered it's also amazing for YouTube. It's a "Nano-IPS" panel -- which is OK. I use an ultrawide PVA panel as well, and like that contrast better for code. The Nano-IPS is good enough, but it makes the background color too bright for my taste. That's more than made up for by aspect ratio and size. It enables me to see so much code, both vertically and horizontally, that it's a huge productivity improvement. Totally a panel designed for coders and video content creators. The other thing it's great at is YouTube. I'm not a video creator, but just viewing YouTube is better on this panel. The screen aspect ratio puts big, black bars on top and bottom -- which the YouTube web view uses to put controls and closed captions into. This means I can now watch programming tutorial videos with captioning turned on (really helps with accents), and see the screen/code far better. It's a huge improvement for people who use YouTube to consume educational, especially programming, content. If it were gen2 OLED ( like the LG G2 OLED panel ), I would easily say it's the best "work" monitor on the planet. But, it loses some value for being nano-IPS. 5 |

[1000:1] This is a very good high hz fps monitor. Not the best since it's a ips panel rather than a TN panel but trade off is slower pixel response times but much better colors and view angles. Elmb aka black bar insertion works perfect and helps with blur and eye strain. Make sure you have a graphics card that can maintain 280 fps min and a good quality display port wire. 5 |

[1000:1] Out of the box, the monitor is flawless. Changing from VA panel to Nano IPS really makes a big different in terms of image quality. Most importantly, no more smearing and ghosting. There's no dead pixel spotted, and minimal backlight bleed in the unit I recieved. Overall beyond satisfied. 5 |
