Samsung Monitor Soundbar

[150 W Program ] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW-S60D 5.0ch Soundbar has been a fantastic upgrade for my home entertainment setup. Initially, I purchased it to replace my existing Samsung soundbar, and the Dolby Atmos support, combined with the compatibility with my existing subwoofer and rear speakers, significantly enhanced my movie-watching experience. However, the real magic happened when I paired it with my new Samsung G8 OLED monitor. The soundbar's compact size fits perfectly under the monitor, and the sound quality is simply outstanding for both movies and video games. The Dolby Atmos adds an incredible level of immersion, making game sounds feel incredibly realistic and engaging. Connectivity has been seamless with both my Samsung TV and monitor, which is a huge plus. The SmartThings app is a great substitute for the lack of an LED display, offering convenient control over various settings. While HDMI passthrough would have been a nice addition, I understand the constraints in this form factor. Overall, the Samsung HW-S60D has exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is superb, the Dolby Atmos is immersive, and the compatibility is excellent. It's a fantastic all-around soundbar that I highly recommend, especially if you're looking to enhance your gaming or movie experience.

[Bass-Reflex] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q800D Soundbar is mind blowing with how clear and satisfying it sounds. I have a few Samsung sound bars and I can't believe how Samsung keeps raising the bar (lol) every time. This soundbar shines with Dolby Atmos content, the immersion is surprisingly better than some home theater setups that are much more expensive. I wish there were more HDMI inputs on the soundbar and that it could support waking up when using a PC. But other than that, this soundbar has modern features that'll work in any smart home ecosystem.

[150 W Program ] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted to get a soundbar for our living room but we wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing as it’s in our formal living room. It’s a long and narrow room so we wanted something that would help push the sound and boy does it ever! If you have the TV at a lower volume, the projection, base, and noise variances aren’t that noticeable. However, once you turn it up the soundbar comes to life! Everything is crisp and clear and beautifully blends together without getting too bass deep or high pitched. We have tested it on music videos, movies, kids shows, and streaming shows. Everything has been wonderful. Set up was a breeze, literally just a plug and play and we don’t have a Samsung TV. That’s the only bummer as we don’t get to use the Samsung only attributes, but it seamlessly integrated with our fire stick and we can control the volume with that. We are so happy with this soundbar - it met all our expectations and we looked for over a year to find one that met all the marks!

[1x HDMI Male] I purchased this cable to use to hook up my Samsung TV and soundbar. Quality was excellent, the cable well made. I had the cable within 3 days. Another outstanding product from B&H.

[16.5 lb] Used this with Samsung UN40MU6290 (40 in TV). I needed to raise the TV further off of the dresser so that a Sonos Beam soundbar could fit beneath the TV without blocking the IR receiver on the TV. The stand that came with the TV was too low. The SANUS VSTV1 stand is well built and comes with all of the necessary screws and attachments. Putting it together was not difficult. I was able to adjust it so that the TV was at a perfect height to work with the Sonos Beam soundbar. A lip on the lower portion of the TV (and small TV size) limited positioning of the vertical brackets that are attached to the TV. For the height that I needed, this meant that the brackets stuck out approx 1 cm above the top of the TV. I ended up using a saw to cut off the ends of the bracket so that they did not stick out.
