[150 TB] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking to upgrade my current gaming PC and was very pleased to find out that it had a second available slot for this 500Gb SSD. I figured it will be perfect way to a boost for gaming or a seamless workflow for heavy graphics, the 980 is a smart choice for outstanding SSD performance - and it's all backed by an NVMe interface and PCIe 3.0 technology. The install was very easy, as they say "plug and play". You can use the optional Samsung Magician software with it which is pretty neat and useful as well. The drive itself states read speeds up to 3500Mb/s however after doing some testing I was not able to replicate that kind of speed, however all the applications loaded up quickly and after doing some transfers back and forth, it worked amazingly fast. If you still use a spinning drive I would absolutely recommend replacing it with this SSD drive (or even better with a Pro version of it), you will see your OS boot up in seconds, read and write speeds will be quick which will improve your work flow. Samsung is a reliable brand for SSD media and this NVMe M2 is an awesome alternative to any other competition in this area. I received this product at a discounted price for my honest opinion.

[500 TB] got a new computer that didn't have the capability for std SSD drive. I've been looking at these and decided on this one. I usually get the Samsung NVME drives, but they didn't seem to have any in the 4T range. This seems to be fast and so far reliable.

So we use this for our Tesla as we needed something with a fast read and write speed to capture the footage from the cameras. The rugged design is perfect as it helps absorb the shock of a moving car. I love the textured feel and the size. It is super easy to export files from thhe drive to my computer. The perfect tech addition.

[1x 3.5"] Made of plastic, but not flimsy at all. Fits my Samsung SSD perfectly, and fits in the 3.5 drive tray of my computer case without issue. The nice thing about this is it can fit 2 SSD's, which is really nice for not having to use up another drive bay if space is already limited.

[Black] Used it to clone my dad's 500GB MacBook Pro hard drive to a 500GB Samsung SSD. Removed the old hard drive, placed both in the dock and presto! Worked perfectly. Took an hour and a half for the whole job. I also purchased the little tool kit that came up when I put the hard drive in the cart. Now the computer is fast again.

[0.59 lb] In replacing my dead 1TB mechanical drive with a new Samsung 2TB Solid State Drive, I realized that the two were physically different. A simple stamped sheet metal adapter was in order. My brother who had vastly more experience in PC maintenance told me different. The new SSD was a real heat producer and the Sonnet Transposer Adapter was machined from a solid block of aluminum and also acted as a heatsink for the drive. The adapter & drive came very quickly from B&H . The install took about 2 minuets, everything aligned, the provided screws fit perfectly, combining the adapter and new drive. The assembly slid into place, replacing the old drive. The power supply & SATA wires now plugged into the adapters edge connectors without issues. The PC is back to work. I would recommend this for anyone upgrading to an SSD without hesitation.

[1 TB] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want top of the line flagship performance for Gen4, this is the SSD to get. Bottom line is that this SSD is blazing fast and is no slouch when it comes to loading games, fileels, apps, or transferring files to and from the drive. The WD SN850x is a close competitor, but what makes the 990 Pro stand out is probbaly the sustained read/write speeds and the Magician software. Samsung Magician is just a great app for anything you need to use or check the status of your Samsung drive or other drives in your system. The only catch is that you cannot clone data to a non-Samsung disk; only from another brand to Samsung, so that's not so convenient.

[Cage] This cafe has integrated into it a SSD hard drive space a perfect fir the the Samsung T5 SSD. And if you shoot interviews or hour plus content then the Samsung T5 is a must and so is this cage. Nothing flops around and the cables are better hidden even for gimbal use

The T9 SSD provides a great weight for the drive. It comes in around 4.3 ounces, on the high side, for a small portable SSD, but a welcome one. I enjoy the weight of T9 and provides an outstanding balance in your hand. Based on the design, features, speed, performance, and weight, I would recommend the Samsung T9 SSD to everyone. I believe it has been the best SSD that I have tested in a while.

[Bus Powered] The Samsung 4TB T9 Portable SSD drive is awesome. It's practical in terms of size (compact) and very snappy (fast) to transfer data. Only used it for a month, but love it. I keep photos (jpeg and raw files) on the drive. Plenty of storage.
