Samsung Top Load Washer Suspension Rod Replacement

[2.8 lb] Unit is well built with quality material and details. The tension of rotating joint can be adjusted by Phillip screw driver. I used this to mount Rode Stereo Videomic X on top of Z6. Although condenser units in Rode SVMX have their mini Rycote mounts, the handling noise of camera can sometimes be heard if mount the SVMX directly on top of camera. This Rycote suspension effectively introduces additional isolation and further eliminate the handling noise. I insert the copper 3/8 hot shoe adapter that came with the kit into SVMX hot shoe mount's 3/8 female thread, and then mount the assembly on top of the Rycote suspension using 1/4 female thread in hot shoe mount. I don't use the angle piece and instead i use a hot shoe adapter that has long 1/4 male thread to connect Rycote suspension to the camera. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the unit make up for the cost.

[RMH1 & R2 Carts] It's a wheel. It rolls. It holds a lot of weight. Comes with a set of replacement washer and pin, but no end cap. As is with the case with all other RocknRoller products, the box basically all came apart during shipping, but I am glad that B&H ships this item with their own box around it.

[200 W] I wasn't sure with all the different items to charge how this would handle the load. It is great. iPad Pro, Samsung phone, little tablet and other things were no problem and quick.

[Yes] I'm able to attach a locking Arri-style top handle and use 15mm rod components above the lens. Other companies would do well to implement top 15mm rods. This plate allows for unparalleled modularity. It's very sturdy and I can trust it with a lot of weight.

I decided to also purchase this component to replace the other base plate. BEST DECISION EVER! Although the other plate is very well constructed, this one suits me to a tee! The ability to snap it straight onto a Sony tripod plate and having the rear rod mounts further back make this one that bit better. One thing I didn't know at the time of purchase, all the rod levers are kipp style, so once you've tightened up the rods you can move the lever to an out of the way position.
