Sandisk Ssd Portable Under $100

[0.355 lb] I recently got my hands on the Lexar 1TB ARMOR 700 Portable SSD, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed! First off, the size comparison blew me away. It's about the same size as a credit card and much slimmer than my old Toshiba Canvio portable SSD, which is more than twice as thick. [6 x 3.95 x 0.3"] I'm 100% on SanDisk, and over two years have had no issues with loss or corruption. Stability is what I'm after and these do a great job.

[3-Year ] I bought a Sandisk SSD drive that I then heard bad things about — regarding reliability — and was concerned since I had already started using it. Then I went and got this recovery protection, and feel much better about having gotten this drive.

[8 to 90%] I've used OWC SSDs before, and I bought another one to replace a Sandisk SSD that died after 4 years. Unlike other brands, 120GB is actually 120GB of usable space.

[Bus Powered] For SSD's I've mostly used SanDisk (and a few Lacie drives) but decided to try this one since it is a bit lower priced. It's very fast and I've used it for three edit projects so far in the past three months with no issues. I'm able to play 6K RAW video back in real time, do complex After Effects renders (UHD resolution, using a second drive for cache), and just about anything else post-production related with all the assets on this drive. Plan on getting more of these but after this first trial run with the Transcend 2TB USB 3.2 I have nothing but a positive experience.
