Screen Projector With Remote Mini

[0.2 oz / 5.7 g] Bought a couple of these little dongles for two Mac mini servers I use exclusively via Remote Desktop. The speed change is amazing, almost like you are at the remote machine itself. All I did was plug them in, did a quick reboot just to be sure they didn't interfere with a remote restart/services, and that's it... Interestingly now when I click Displays in system settings, I get two windows pop open, one for the local monitor and one for the dongle. Very nice.

We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

[2-Year ] The replacement remote works very well. Much better than the original remote came with the projector. Highly recommend.

[10 oz (286 g)] This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

[Genlock] Work perfectly for using my iPhone and mini projector for home movie night.
