[4 oz / 113 g] I use this for my silver WD Backup Plus Slim external hard drive. It works great or... protects well. Here's my argument for why to buy the horizontal vs. vertical.. Horizontal offers a longer band to hold in the hard drive. More surface area holding it down = better protection.

[2 TB] I have not purchased an external drive in some time so I was pleasantly surprised to see the price was so good. I mean I knew it wasn’t going to break the bank but it never fails to surprise me just how inexpensive they are for what they are. Purchased to use as a backup/clone of another drive (also seagate 2tb, slim version) that I have had seemingly forever (which is exactly why I got this, paranoia that my luck so far may run out) and it hasn’t let me down so when I was looking to get another I went for a seagate just as I did when getting a drive for a backup of my computer. I’m not one to shill for any brands but in my experience, seagate is a good choice. .

[20 to 80% ()] I have been using the Seagate Backup Plus products for years and I think they are some of the best out there. They are super reliable, well-priced, and really last. I like to order the same product in multiple colors to further organize your backup system. This model is slimmer and lighter than the previous design. They continue to optimize their products.

[24 TB] Seagate did as advertised. It was truly plug and play, with no reformatting, hard disk erasures, or special apps. Whether one is not inclined to do extra operations ,or maybe not prepared, Seagate solves our problems. Great product.

[Cable] I have two external backup drives (Seagate 8TB with USB hub). Each is connected to my Mac with one of these. Works great

I have several other Seagate external hard drives that have really performed well over many years, and I expect this drive to be just as reliable. I am a satisfied, repeat customer!
