Seagate Backup Plus 3Tb External Hard Drive

[65 G / 2.0 ms] Bought a pair of these to replace some old Seagate 3TB death drives I use for backup. I put them in my new OWC dual enclosure, and ran Cystaldisk (2 pass 1GB) on them both. First drive was 260MB/s read, 256MB/s write. Second drive was 255MB/s read and write. Those are sequential...I basically use the drives to backup small and large files. My older 7200RMP drivers were luccky to hit 100MB/s, so this is a sweet upgrade.

[4 oz / 113 g] I use this for my silver WD Backup Plus Slim external hard drive. It works great or... protects well. Here's my argument for why to buy the horizontal vs. vertical.. Horizontal offers a longer band to hold in the hard drive. More surface area holding it down = better protection.

[0.7 lb] I purchased this 3TB USB hard drive to backup my new MAC. The drive arrived in 2 days with free shipping. The drive was packed well and was in great condition. The drive is formatted for Mac and worked as soon as it was plugged in. The readme file on the drive explains other details and tips. I used the Mac app Time Machine to backup the Hard drive. No problems whatsoever. I like WD hard drives because they are very reliable and work properly right out of the box for both IOS and Windows.

[6 TB] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to play Xbox but I have always had a problem with the amount of storage the games need to play them. This 3TB gives me more than enough room to download all my games and more. Some of my games are almost 100gb and without the extra external storage it would take up almost hard drive. Hooking the external hard drive up was very easy and just needed to be plugged in directly to the Xbox. The Xbox will recognize it and will be ready to move downloads and store them as needed. The hardrive may look small but 3TB is a very large amount of space! This external hard drive is great quality and I'm pleased how easy set up was with it.

[2 TB] I have not purchased an external drive in some time so I was pleasantly surprised to see the price was so good. I mean I knew it wasn’t going to break the bank but it never fails to surprise me just how inexpensive they are for what they are. Purchased to use as a backup/clone of another drive (also seagate 2tb, slim version) that I have had seemingly forever (which is exactly why I got this, paranoia that my luck so far may run out) and it hasn’t let me down so when I was looking to get another I went for a seagate just as I did when getting a drive for a backup of my computer. I’m not one to shill for any brands but in my experience, seagate is a good choice. .

[Plastic] I have been working with this Seagate external hard drive for a couple of weeks now, and it has been performing well. I have several other Seagate external hard drives that have really performed well over many years, and I expect this drive to be just as reliable. I am a satisfied, repeat customer!

[0.275 lb] I bought the Seagate 2tb plus slim external hard drive and this case fit it perfectly. Also, it has a little pouch to keeps my usb wire. Its small enough so that I don’t have to carry around anything bulky with me but big enough to fit some other accessories I might need when I carry around my external hard drive. I love the color and it fits of course in my bag without taking up much room and also fits in the inside of my jacket. I really like how quickly it was delivered and packaged safely. All around a great buy. Recommend it to anyone needed to protect their hard drive.
