[2000 TB] Upgraded from FireCuda 530 over a year ago and my Flight Simulator, partnered with ASUS ROG X670 Extreme, AMD R9 7950X and ASUS RTX4090, is blazing fast. The lag went completely away. I also eliminated the RAID and use only the 540 which I think helped the simulators, MSFS2020 and DCS. Started with 520's and they have been trouble free. FireCudas are in all my new computers. Seagate HDDs are my backup and storage drives. My next gamer will have next gen FireCudas.

[1000 TB] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed by how easy it was to install and how much it improved my gaming experience. The games loaded faster, ran smoother, and looked better on the FireCuda 520N SSD. I also noticed that the SSD was very quiet and cool, even under heavy load. I was able to store all my favorite games on the 1TB capacity, which is more than enough for me. The FireCuda 520N SSD also comes with some nice features, such as Seagate’s three-year Rescue Data Recovery Services and five-year warranty. These give me peace of mind that my data is safe and that I can get help if anything goes wrong. The SSD also works well with Seagate’s software tools, such as SeaTools SSD and DiscWizard, which help me monitor, optimize, and backup my drive.

[0.135 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed and have been using the new Seagate FireCuda 520N SSD and I have to say I am quite impressed. To start off with, it was packaged nice and tight in an antistatic bag with bubble wrap. It is very small and compact with no visual defects at all. Installation does require a lot of skill, even the lowest of tech savvy can search a youtube tutorial and find it easily installed into any of its applications. Once installed the formatting was quick and the drive was ready to use. With an active transfer speed of 2.32 Gbps all my files were transferred over with ease. The FireCuda 520N has been operating for a couple days now and I firmly see how this is a superior PCIe SSD for all applications.

[2.5"] I used this drive to clone a laptop hard drive to a solid state drive. Worked well.

[Bus Powered] Needed a 5TB backup drive for my data. Chose the Firecuda because of the attractive price. Drive works well, typical writ speed is 70 to 85 MB/s. So far so good.

[260 MB/s] VERY CAREFUL WITH THE HITS WHEN YOU ARE WORKING, IT IS NOT A SOLID STATE HARD DRIVE

[Aluminum] This mounting kit worked well when converting my iMac from a hard drive to a solid state drive.

[0.05 lb] This cable was used to install an extra solid state drive in a 2011 iMac. It is very versatile and with a minor modification, it worked perfectly.

[Integrated] This is my first MACBook. It is expensive and can not be upgraded after purchase - two big bummers. But it works flawlessly and has all the speed I was hoping for. I use it to create giant panoramas in Photoshop, starting with as many as 15 exposures. What took as much as 15 minutes to process now takes a few seconds. I have a lot of PSB files, gigantic. They save in less than a minute rather than 20. At home, I operate it clam shell style. I had no problem hooking the MACBook up to larger, calibrated screens, though I had to buy a boatload of converters. One way I could have saved money would have been to have purchased a much smaller solid state drive; maybe one TB. No solid state drive is big enough to hold all my photos. So, purchasing a conventional, inexpensive peripheral drive was necessary anyway. A harddrive that is configured for both PCs and MACS turned out to be the best way to go; though now I have about 3TB of unused solid state drive on the MACBook, a waste of money.

[5 VDC] The solid state hard drive is very fast and compact, an excellent device. When loading the files from the previous hard drive it was very fast
