[Canon EF] First, have a pair of tweezers or very small pliers on hand. Second, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Other than that, it's easy, and solid. NOTE: this is NOT meant to switch between lenses. [Yes] When I shop for cases, I first decide if I need a case that will work as a carry on for flight or not. For this case I decided to go with something bigger than carry on requirements but not too big. To me, it's just right. It has all the features I need it to have. I actually like it better than my Pelican 1510 solely because of the handle. You can grab the handle and use your thumb to extend it up for rolling. On my Pelican, when you grab the handle to extend, you have to use your other hand to unlock it for rolling. That makes it a two hand job and I'm often trying to carry equipment in my other hand. So this case has simplified things for me.
