The tracking of human shape is good, but it does pickup animals, and our wind chime sometimes. It’s fun to check on our cats or wildlife in our yard. The flood lights are bright. The ease of install made for a quick setup. Nothing additional needed to be purchased, because we just replaced an old outdoor light with this flood light camera. It even hangs easily while installing it so you don’t have to hold the light while trying to connect wires. It made it an easy one person job. We really like how clear the picture is, for security purposes, we would have a good description of an intruder. I would highly recommend this flood light security camera.

[Yes] Purchased for the bright summer days. Moulds well to my eye socket for sealing out the light ... so I get a bright EVF display. It's very flexible, so it does not impede sliding the camera into pouches/bags.

[1' (30 cm)] Having read some reviews... about the tight fit at the camera remote socket connection, before connecting to the camera, I simply eased the outer chrome sleeve back and forth a few times until it slid freely. The fit was then snug but did not get stuck and was easy to remove. Otherwise, the cable is soft, flexible and tangle free. It works as well as expected and has proved useful for self-portrait and a way of directing a model and photographing a scene without being stuck behind the camera - an unexpected plus.
