Security Cameras Wide Angle Outdoor

[1x DC Jack] Bought it just so I could use two cameras at an event. Wide angle around my neck using a regular strap and the telephoto hanging from the blackrapid. Worked perfectly and to my surprise the strap makes it extremely easy to get the second camera up and shooting in less than a few seconds. It has earned a place in my camera bag.

[Neoprene] This lens is used on Sony A7II and A7RII cameras. It is very sharp and gives that added wide angle over a 28 mm lens.

[72 mm] I bought this lens for my Canon HF S20 and 21 cameras since they do not have much of a wide viewing angle when working in tight quarters. I have only had this lens for two weeks but found it very useful. I mounted this lens on one of my cameras for floor shots to video my daughter's college dance team to get a second viewing perspective. I was extremely happy with the added viewing angle, amount of light the lens allows in and clarity of video. I also used the camera for another dance performance from bleachers that were not far away enough to shoot the entire team without this lens. The focal range of the lens was a little limited. My subjects stayed in focus as long as I did not zoom in more than about 70%. This was the only draw back I found to this lens. If your application for a zoom lens is mainly to capture a wide angle without doing progressive zooming, you will love this lens. The lens has very fine threads so you will need to be careful when threading it on the camera. It is not made to quickly put on and remove from camera. Very well made lens with quality glass and solid construction. Good price considering what you would pay for a comparable Canon lens. Lens came with sturdy plastic case, dust cover for threaded camera interface and nice snap on cover to protect lens when attached to camera. Love this lens!

[6 lb / 2.7 kg] I have 3 of these, each with 50' extensions and have made 3 umbilicals for camera controls. I then set up 3 cameras (SonyA1U, not too heavy), and have a 4th static wide angle camera. I can control pan/tilt, zoom, focus, on/off and get close-ups with 3 cameras plus wide angle, then edit in post. Mainly I use for concerts. Central table with 4 - 7 monitors. Built a custom case from hard side suitcase for these, plus monitors, power supplies (but mostly work all with batteries, have 12 volt snowmobile battery to power monitors), plus all cables and batteries. Portable and works great.
