Sennheiser E865 Condenser Microphone

[Supercardioid] I use Sennheiser E865 for more than 5 Years, and never been upset about this microphone. Great thing about it that it has very clear sound, works perfectly for every kind of voice, but i find it the best in having it for Male Vocal. because it picks up low frequencies really good and makes any voice sound very rich.

[3.3' / 1 m] We need some way to supply phantom power to a condenser microphone feeding into a Sennheiser wireless transmitter. This proved to be the perfect solution. Its construction is first class and it works flawlessly. We're so thankful we were alerted to this product and highly recommend it.

[Solid-State] What can I say other than this is awesome! We are rocking the E865 as a ENG handheld mic. We have it paired to a Sennheiser plug on transmitter providing phantom. The pickup pattern is awesome, point at sound, you get sound.

[0.04 lb] I used this windscreen for E865 microphone. Great: Nicely fit and works perfect to block wind & singer's breathing noise while virtually not affecting singer voice quality. No So Great: It is kind of thick. I wish it is thinner (as thin as the Beta 87A windscreen for example)

[Handheld] Best microphone ever. Sennheiser it's something else. Top of the line...

[Black] This mic is awesome. I additionally have a Sennheiser MKH416 which has better noise rejection. This Neumann condenser has a preferred frequency response. As a result, this mic is very well suited to live processing with an Apollo x8p or Twin X. I also have a few other mics, but this one is amazing!

[1 to 3 V] Before purchasing this, I actually purchased a Sennheiser e965 condenser vocal, which is apparently their top-of-the-line handheld vocal mic. While it was certainly a very high quality mic which I am sure works great for many others, it just didn't fit my voice, even with some EQ experimentation. So, I sent it back and decided to try the e865. Yes! Incredible warmth and presence, able to cut through the band with room to spare, great intelligibility. Short story, I love this mic!
