[0.72 lb] It is a great headphone case. B&H displays it at the bottom of the Sennheiser HD 800 listing, which at least suggests the HD 800 would fit in it. It is not even close. The HD 800 heaphones do not fit in this case.

[Black] Finally, Sennheiser has come out with an 8000 series figure-8 microphone. They should have released this mic 10 years ago. The figure-8 pattern is fundamental to MS and Blumlein stereo techniques. It’s an extremely useful pattern in general, even though most audio engineers don’t use the pattern often enough. As for this particular microphone, it’s fantastic. Sounds great (just like the other MKH 8000 series mics) with a low end much better than most figure-8 mics. Low noise. Small, light, lots of output. Nice non-reflective finish. This RF mic is not affected by high humidity. I use it in a DMS configuration with a Sennheiser MKH 800 Twin. The 8030 replaces a MKH 800 P48 set to the figure-8 pattern which was previously used in that rig. The 8030 works fine in that application, sounding just as good as the 800 P48. Compared to the 800 P48, the 8030 is slightly noisier and has about 3 dB less output; neither difference is a problem. I own a Neumann KM 120; the MKH 8030 is better. I don’t know how Sennheiser could improve this microphone. It’s an expensive microphone, so I guess they could make it less expensive, right?

[Black] The HD 800 S is very comfortable and feel exactly the same as the old HD 800. The sound stage and imaging are amazing (like before) and Sennheiser (finally) fixed that high peak and added a little more power to the bass. However, I feel that they are still as picky in terms of amp-pairings. Definitely do your homework on pairings (try them out at a local hi-fi store/audio meet) before dishing out for these. They may sound fine on some amps but are lackluster on others and require more power than most other headphones out there. Accessories are the usual except they now come with the balanced cable -- which used to cost $400 separately. I can't comment on the difference in sound between the unbalanced 1/4 and balanced XLR cables as I haven't spent the time to A/B test them, but it's nice of Sennheiser to include this if you ever need to switch to an amp with only balanced outputs. The included cables are a bit long if you're not in a studio, but if you have the money for this pair of headphones, you can probably afford a custom, shorter cable for portable/at-home use.

[Black] The headline says it all. I bought these to get a pair of Tannoy 800 speakers up to ear level on an office desk. They work fine and are stable for the heavy speakers.

[1000:1] Ok, I have owned many 5.5 to 7 monitors, spending up to $800 each. This Feelworld is savagely inexpensive, but is really amazing in every way. For the cost, there is literally no way I can complain about any aspect of this monitor. Had I not known the cost, I would have guessed it costs about two to three times the asking price. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

[470 to 865 MHz] After researching a few different options for a combiner to help with some static / interference we were getting with our Sennheiser In-Ear Monitors - I decided to go with this unit. Since installing in our rack; we have had absolutely no static, no interference - it solved all of our issues! The ability for this unit to also power our units using the power over BNC connection is also a very nice surprise; taking up fewer valuable outlets in my power distribution. I'm quite pleased with this unit and very happy that I bought it.

[Foam] We use them with our E5 ear buds and a Sennheiser in-ear monitor system. These units are preferred by my band and vocal team for their superior fit.

[40 Hz to 16 kHz] Have purchased and used many Sennheiser products through the years. The HMD-25 was great. The HMD-26 was flawed, but many issues were corrected with the HMD-26-II. The HMD-27 has the around ear style. Personal preference for the 26-II on ear style. Noise canceling is very effective. We think the 600-ohm version (vs 100-ohm) is worth it. If you purchase the no cable option you'll need

[0.315 lb] Unlike other ear pads that I was considering for my Sennheiser HD 280 Headphones, these Auray ear pads were fairly easy to install since the material that attaches to the headphone is a little stretchy. The stock ear pads from Sennheiser are probably more difficult to install since they are less stretchy. The leather seems to be of good quality and feels good. The level of sound isolation is at least as good as the original ear pads.
