Sennheiser Lapel Mic

[3 µV] Had originally paired a Sennheiser lapel body pack and handheld microphone to save expense. Then there was a need for these mics to be used simultaneously so needed to find an additional receiver and B&H worked with me in identifying one. It works well as a Sennheiser is expected to. Thank you B&H for the help your Sales stafferdid in finding the right equipment. The new receiver works great with the older microphone. It works as one expects a Sennheiser to work. [Empty] This case is being used to house 2 sennheiser lavalier transmitters, there assoicated lapel microphones elements and 4 AA batteries. I was easily able to remove the cube foam pieces that I needed to allow the above noted items. They fit snuggly and will last MUCH longer being safe and secure in this case than the microphone bag they were previously stored in. My employees also think it is pretty niffty.

[1] It works flawlessly with lapel mics, Sennheiser MKE2 and Sanken 11D. It allows one to test the lapel mics directly into a preamp. The lapel mics also work using this adapter with a plug-on transmitter for stage mics.

[Omnidirectional] Great affordable lapel mic. I use it for ceremonies on the groom. Only used it once, but so far so good.

[Low Cut/HPF] It was a toss-up between this and the Sennheiser MKE600. My uses: strictly on-camera nats/sots mic.I only use Lavs (countryman b3) for interviews. My camera is NOT professional and does not have phantom power. Likes: - 250 had consistent sound between battery/phantom, sennheiser lost a little bass on battery not using phantom - 1/2 shorter - super minimal shockmount Cons: - in the pro world it's sound devices and sennheiser so there is that My first azden experience was a SGM 1x that only had 80-18,000 response, but for voice it was my favorite starter mic and did not have to do any de-esser. I never even knew what de-essing was until experiencing a full range 20-20k mic.
