[1 RU (1/2 Rack)] I own six Sennheiser G4 handheld sets, and they are my go-to for wireless. I run them on an RF distro system for any size venue. I like the form factor of the SKM500 mic, it is extremely durable in my experience, and has numerous options for capsules. This set comes with the e945 capsule, which is my personal favorite of Sennheiser for clarity and I find it’s always easy to dial in on a variety of vocalists.

[0] A significant improvement over earlier versions of Sennheiser wireless headsets. The RS 175 system sound is noticeably cleaner. Also appreciate the option to employ surround sound and bass boost.

[18 Hours] For years I had been using the older Sennheiser RS 120 wireless headset which operated in the 926-928 MHz frequency range. The performance was adequate, but the unit suffered from multipath cancellation (signal reduction due to the out of phase combination of multiple reflections). You will notice this when you move your head slightly, and there would be a sudden, and audible, change in signal amplitude or a short burst of background noise. As I had need for an addition system, I decided on the RS 175 as it seemed to have good reviews. I have not been disappointed. The RS 175 operates in the 2.4 GHz band with digital modulation. While 2.4 GHz systems are also subject to multipath propagation deterioration, I noticed none with this system, even with the headset taken outside onto the patio with the transmitter 40+ feet away. As typical with digital modulation systems, there was a threshold effect -- if the headset got out of range, the signal would abruptly disappear, quieting the audio -- in the past, you would simply be greeted with noise. In addition, I very much like the Bass Boost and Surround Sound options which can be quickly selected at the press of a button on the headset. The one negative for the headset is that you need to really take the headset off in order to figure out which button to press. I find this a rather minor inconvenience as I am not changing audio level, bass boost or surround sound options on the fly. In summary, Sennheiser did a superb job with this unit. The audio quality is excellent (I used an analog input -- an optical interface also exists for even better quality) and the annoying multipath effects so common with many wireless headsets are non-existent.

[Metal] I switched out my sennheiser omni directional paddles for the single RF VENUE Finn, and it was an immediate change! Totally clean and dropless connection for all 8 sennheiser wireless mics. We simply plugged in the RF Venue Finn to our Sennheiser wireless antenna combiner, and everything was better. I have always had issues with wireless, and I believe this Finn will change everything for our church. Joey

[Red] I bought a pair on a whim because I got tired of using Airpod Pros 2 IEMs to use while on the couch or in bed waiting for the kids to fall asleep. I am into the Audiophile hobby so I am nitpicky when it comes to sound but obviously for wireless devices I understand sacrifices have to be made. I own a Hifiman Susvara, a Focal Utopia, and Sennheiser HD800S, all of which are considered summit-fi headphones which I use when stationary at my audio stack at my PC Desktop so I know what good heaphones sound like. The headphones are slightly consumer tuned to be warmer on the bass region (typical) but not overly annoying. ANC isn't as good as Apple solutions but sound quality is leaps above it. The sound quality is definitely on par with Focal's sub-$1000 offerings and they are more resolving than my classic Sennheiser HD650 for sure. Where I find this shines is with the Sound Personalization feature in the app where it auto-EQs based on your hearing capability. If this is your only pair of audiophile grade headphones, you'll appreciate the DAC feature where you can plug it into your USB jack of your PC to feed a pure digital signal to the headphone's built in DAC/AMP, this is where I feel this headphone performs its best (though BT is still best in class amongst its wireless peers). For anyone who just needs a pair of audiophile wireless headphones that can be used as a wired version (USB or headphone jack) as well look no further. As of the latest firmware version I do not notice any delay playing music or content on my phone as other users have noted.

[20 Hz to 20 kHz] Great wireless system, I did not have any RF issues at all. The best thing about this wireless kit, is the MKE-2 Gold Lavalier mic. Unlike it's predecessor the ME-2, the MKE-2 Gold is much easier to conceal, and best of all it sounds great. My one issue I had with it was it is too big to hide in the visor of a car during a driving scene. Both the transmitter and reciever are the same size as the G3's. One improvement I would love to see from Sennheiser regarding the EW series, is a dual receiver option and if possible a smaller body pack transmitter for the near future.

[Aluminum] I upgraded from the Sennheiser G3 Wireless system to the Lectro L series for documentary work. I use this with the Lectrosonics BCSLEBN Spring-Loaded Belt Clip as it provides a much more secure attachment to the talent than the clip provided. This system provides a huge improvement in audio quality and range as well as being much less prone to dropouts. I have always been able to find a clean frequency whenever I scan. Highly recommend.

[0.315 lb] I'm a professional video producer. I have long used a Sennheiser wireless system with my SONY camcorders, I ordered this lav to use with my newly purchased DJI wireless mic system because it does not have the locking connector that would prevent its use with the DJI transmitter. And because according to reports I read, it performs well with the system with no hiss. I have found that with the DJI transmitter's gain set to 0db and the receiver (plugged into my iphone 8) set at +6db, the results are very good with the gain boosted in post. As expected, when I tested the lav with my Sound Devices MixPre-3 recorder, the sound was considerably better with little boost needed in post. This lav performs at least as well as my Sennheiser. It provided the solution I needed and is good value for the money.
