[1x Handheld] I have only used these speakers once but suffice it to say I am very impressed with sound level and quality of sound!! I play in a three piece wedding band, drums, bass and guitar.  I had a gig at an outside venue and decided to test these speakers out there.  I had been led to believe the venue was smaller and guests would number about 150.  When I got there the place was bigger than I expected and there were a bit more than 200 guests. To top it off, the dance floor was located a ways from the band. When I fired them up and did the sound check I knew that the speakers were going to handle the event just fine. I used a bass drum mic and an overhead for the drums.  I also put the guitar and  and a little bass guitar through the speakers.  These speakers put out some surprising  volume and quality sound. The vocals sounded very nice and clear. Granted, these speakers are and upgrade from the $800 to $900 per speaker I was using, but nevertheless these Yamaha bring the volume and quality of sound that IS the next level. I can only Imagine how they sound with the Yamaha subs which I plan on getting soon. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And bottom line, these speakers make my band sound better, and that is good for business.

[14 W RMS ] I use them with my laptop to listen music and videos. I love the sound, just enough bass and we can clearly ear each instrument and the voice and enough power to get fun. For the price I am more than satisfied but don't compare them with professionals speakers that cost thousands of dollars. Design is so so.

[Yes] Ideal if you play bass or guitar and sing. It gives you space from your instrument.

[Telescoping] Small based mic stands fall over on bass drums .... this Atlas DMS7E stand is the perfect size to keep your Mic where you put it and the ebony color means you'll see that Nice Drum Kit and not focus on the stands. And because it's a Atlas you know it'll last !

[1600 mW] For mixing these are hard to beat. Clean. Every vocal. Every nuance. Every instrument. If it's clean on these speakers it will be great on whatever folks are listening on...even the non-discerning. And if you want to rock out with them, you can equalize and turn the volume up. Can't imagine a better set of speakers for a small room mix.

[Passive 3-Way] This is my second L1. I run them in stereo from the mixer. Vocal, upright bass, keyboard and drums. Clear and clean sound.
