[Black] This is a very compact light stand with a narrower leg base than a typical C-stand. But it's very sturdy, well-made, and easy to use. We like its compact size for portability on the road and the rocky mountain leg is useful on uneven surfaces. Just be aware that the smaller footprint will not be as stable as larger stands, so be sure to sandbag it. 5 |

[Hidden Channel] well built short mic stand with adjustable boom. Also has Very substantial base with enough weight to hold up a large heavy mic. As always, shipping was carried out quickly. Love this company! 5 |

[26" / 660 mm] I really felt I did my homework on this one, like I always do these days, but sometimes you can still lose out, but not with this stand. I have some other short stands that start with the letter A, that aren't too bad, except the base isn't metal and I've stripped them all out at the base. This one's got a metal base, and not only feels solid, has two telescope stages on the boom, but I was able to hang my Perception 220 on it with the metal shock mount included. I did have to pull the first part of the boom half way back to keep it from slipping, but I had the other end fully extended horizontally and it held still. Now, I never would position a stand like that, I usually tilt the boom up and don't even extend it all the way, but I just wanted to see what this baby could do. For 29bucks, I'm gonna get some more. [0.4 lb / 0.2 kg] This stand provides support for my MXL BCD-1 Microphone, and it does it in style. The base provides solid support, without taking too much space, the keeper holds the mic cord in place, and the height is easy to adjust. It does exactly what a mic stand should do, and the price is right! 5 |

[Steel] I will start by saying it was missing a wheel nut but I was able to get one at the hardware store. The stand itself is very sturdy, I use microphone stand shelves (look up Gator microphone stand shelves on B&H) to hold a computer and some drives. You obviously want to avoid bumping it as the monitor will rock a little but that is to be expected. Definitely handles the weight and balances decently without an excessively large, intrusive base. If you have like 10” audio rack components, they stack nicely on the two metal parts of the base. While the top weight is limited to a 43” monitor/tv, the lower pole and assembly based on the wheel ratings and structure can hold much more additional weight on the lower half. 5 |

[Steel] I am using this stand for the kick drum and smaller amps. The heavy base keeps the positioning of the microphone very stable. 5 |

[5/8"-27 Male] This microphone stand is being used as a tabletop stand very close to a person talking. A panel of presenters sit at a long table facing the audience and I needed to have an SM58 right in the face of each person. The stand works very well for that and it's all black, blends well with my stands from a different manufacturer and is an all-around team player. I'd trust the stand to work in a whole lot of different situations too. The base is fairly heavy without being dangerous or a hassle to carry around. The base is heavy enough to be able to extend the boom a fair distance from the base and to some extent, off axis...it's really about what you'd expect. Incidently, the base is slightly lighter than the stands from another brand that I have, so I can offer lighter stands if I need to. Nice product. At first, I thought it was a cheapie made out of not-so-good materials, but the more I checked it out and used it, I've decided it's a good product worth having. And it gets the job done! 5 |

[Round] I purchased this stand to serve as a tall microphone stand. The base is wide and the weight of the unit is enough that I don't feel nervous about it or that additional ballast is necessary. The largest section diamater is 35 mm or about 1-3/8; the smallest diamater is 25 mm or about 1. In addition to the hand-tightening knobs, there is an allen-key set screw at each section (key included). 5 |
