[Solid-State] I am very pleased with this instrument. I had one years ago, but it was damaged in a move. The 55SH is exactly how it is advertised...warm and friendly to use. It's a tiny bit short on highs, but that can easily be taken care of with a slight bit of EQ. Sounds wonderful on the lower end. I am very pleased with this beautiful, shiny microphone.

[Proprietary] The Ulxd series from Shure is incredibly fast to setup and sync. After using the uhf-r, these are just way better. You also get 3 transmit power levels in this handle which helps out when your antennas are far away from stage. They are metal housed and very strong. The display is very easy to read, ALTHOUGH, I do like the display on the SLXD better, especially on the transmitter. SLXD has better contrast and easier to read. I have also used the Dante on the Ulxd series. Works great. I have 6 in a rack and one cat6 cable puts them all on the network. No xlr needed if you have a Dante enabled mixer. The available frequencies after a scan in WWB6 are usually around 40-50 in Los Angeles in the g50 band, which is plenty for me. The only thing I would like to see Shure improve on is the battery tray contacts. My frantic customers have broken them several times jamming batteries in sideways. Maybe curl the sides of the contacts more so when they do try and sideways insert it might take the battery without snapping off. Other than that, these handles have been rock solid in the many live performances I have used them on.

[Black] I use these with the Shure MX-4xx and SM99 series microphones. A simple yet elegant solution to clean up the look of head table microphones. The microphone just plugs into this weighted based. There is about 7' of cable terminated with an XLR male that extends from this base.

[Digital UHF ] We have been using the Shure QLXD series for quite a while with very good results in our Sanctuary. With the receivers displaying battery life it helps to keep an eye on what needs charging. We use the Shure rechargeable batteries too.

[Camera-Mount] I've used the Shure SLXD series now at 8 events. They've been great. I bought the rechargeable batteries and I'm getting 7.5 hours out of them. The setup is fast. They scan the open frequencies in less than 10 seconds. Very happy with this series!

[1 RU (1/2 Rack)] Mobile DJ since 2001. Previous owner of Shure and Sennheiser systems. Have used Audix R61 receivers weekly (mostly at weddings) since early 2017, they are rock solid units! TRUE DIVERSITY (dual tuners) indeed! Have not had a SINGLE signal drop out indoors or outdoors, (64MHz frequency band is awesome) even in the super busy RF environment of Southern California. We typically use 2-3 units at the same time. The range is outstanding also, we are often about 100 ft away (advertises a huge 450 ft range, haven't had to do that..) and with up to 200 guests between receiver and bodypacks, still no issues. Very easy setup, and has great features like locking the transmitter so no accidental 'mutes' occur. R61 has a massive amount of tunable frequencies if you need them. The construction is metal and quite solid. Shure and Sennheiser rule the mobile DJ world of wireless, but after speaking with Audix at NAMM 2017, I went with their system and have not looked back. I have since had two other colleagues see/hear the system, and although they were lifetime Shure users, bought an Audix 60 series system. The few reviews you will find rave about them as well. I think it is the current sleeper system that doesn't get a lot of attention, but performs extremely well. Highly recommend. The only downside is the R61 receivers, and the 60 series in general, are of course more expensive than the '40' series, and not typically in stock...anywhere. It takes a few extra days to get to you but it is worth the wait to ensure perfect events, especially wedding ceremonies, with rock solid signal thanks to the true diversity dual tuners.

[1.1 lb] Shure makes products with exceptional fit and finish. The battery door to our ULX series body pack broke off the hinge after 15+ years of changing batteries. I knew Shure must've thought about the eventuality of something like this happening, so I searched, and unsurprisingly, I found this battery door. I got extras just in case. Great price. I know it'll last just as long, but if it ever breaks again for whatever reason, I'll have some spares in hand.
