[-10 dBV] Very happy with the Shure receiver -- very little feedback and consistent quality

[>-86 dB] This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection.

[>105 dBA] I added this extra receiver pack to my order of the CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-mix system, as I'm expecting to have an extra session player or two joining my band on stage. See my review for the GXLIEM4 system in general. The sound quality comes close to that of a Shure system that I used to use, and I love that you can add as many additional receiver packs as needed to the system, you just have to share between 4-mixes (which is like having an embarrassment of riches). The earbuds that come with it sound good and get the job done, but it's easy to upgrade those and find some that sound even better. I walked from my basement into my garage and out front of my house without experiencing any dropouts. The volume control is nice, though I found that you could max it out on the pack and still need a bit more volume from the board. Balance it out to work for you. I'm driving a little more volume from our board so that we can make volume adjustments up and down on our packs as needed. These packs are super easy to pair with their GXLIEM systems and so far the battery life has been really good. They do feel a little more flimsy than my old Shure system (plastic build instead of metal) but as long as you take care of them they'll be fine. Very affordable to replace or get an extended warranty if something happens to it. Overall I'm very excited to have this system and my band mates really enjoy being wireless!

[Snap latch] I use this to contain a single standalone Shure QLX-D system with a receiver, handheld, and body-pack. It works great, and offers superior protection. Super sturdy case, but also pretty big. It was larger than I was expecting, but I'll have to deal with it, since I need to protect this single system. Holds batteries and accessories like short XLRs, lavaliere mics, etc.

[Aluminum] I already had a PG wireless receiver, and this mic works perfectly with it. I talked first with Shure, to be certain of the frequency compatibility. 1st gig out, the receiver was located at the mix position, about 70 feet from the stage. There was no fade out, or interference... it just worked. 5 stars.

[Solid metal] I use all four XLRs for live steams from a small remote set with USB to my laptop for broadcast. Two channels are used for a Shure wireless receiver. One of those channels is for a CVL wireless lavaliere mic. The EQ on the panel results in great voice quality from the CVL. The other receiver channel is a wireless handheld that sounds great with little tweaking. Two channels are used with Shure SM58s. I find that I need more gain with these, but the voice audio quality is not compromised. The Mute buttons on each channel are very handy to mute the moderator and audience mics during a presentation.

[1 to 2 V] This H6/W6 coupled with an Shure SLX bodypack and receiver has worked great. Clear. Easy to setup. Stays in place. No wind noise. Barely visible.

[Silver] We were looking to replace a malfunctioning Shure wireless at my church, but not looking forward to the cost of a whole new mic. and receiver. This was the compromise piece of equipment I didn't know I needed! The "new" mic. is working great, and the cost was within budget.

[4 Hours (BT)] I am a longstanding Bluetooth user with in-ear headphones. I first used the various Shure devices with Bluetooth adapters, then the Shure Bluetooth adapter and finally the TW1. this is just information as a foundation to my review of the PI7. Bowers and Wilkins has been on my radar for some time as I also own the PX. Finally, I pulled the trigger on the PI7. There were on sale for $298 The sound is far superior to the Shure TW1 (with SE425). this is my comparison as the Shure devices combined were $189 +$299. The Shure TW2 with SE215 is now about $239 but the sound quality is not as good as the PI7. Yes, I have the SE215 as well. The PI7 has better noise isolation. active canceling. There is no leakage. The room just disappears. The sound is three dimensional in my head. Listening to Ray of Light (Madonna) gives a good range of music as that song has so much production, one can hear it all. I was debating whether or not to hold out for the next version as the battery power might be better but bought it anyway. Not sure if I would have bought them for $399, but for $298, yes. Also note the case acts as a Bluetooth transmitter. The volume needs to be pushed up a bit, but it still transmits. Good for flights. I already used one of these, but the combination means one less thing to carry.
