[Solid-State] I was happy with Shure SM58 until I bought this E845, my second microphone for karaoke The vocal seems much clearer with this E845

This windscreen seems big when you first get it but it fits snugly over the microphone. I use these on my Shure PG58 wireless handheld and SM58 microphones. I have these in different colors so I can easily identify which microphone I'm adjusting through the mixer. There is no loss of audio with the windscreen in place.

[Black] I have become convinced that the D5 is superior to the shure sm58 or any other mic in this price range. It cuts through the mix and has more clarity. I am speaking in terms of live performance in pop/rock style of music. I really don't know how it would measure up using it to record but it rocks as a live vocal mic for lead and background vocals. I even prefer it to the sure beta 58 and 87 too. This is the best vocal mic available for live applications in this range.

[Unidirectional] This is s great vocal mic for the price. I like the sound of it better than all the other $100 mics, including the Shure SM58 and the Sennheiser e835. Just hope it is as reliable as them.

[Auto-Scan] I wanted to upgrade one of my Shure SLX2/SM58 handheld mics to a condenser mic with a higher frequency range and the Shure 87C element provides this especially for female singers; now I don't have the hand noise that can happen with corded SM87C mics so I have the best of two worlds and the ones using the mics definitely like what they hear as does the audience; besides the swap out of mic elements is simple; thanks Shure for making my life easy

[1 x 1/4"] I have a Shure MV7 and although is a fine microphone. The Revelator Dynamic USB Microphone shows an amazing sound out of the box. I 100% recommend it for the price.

[Cardioid] We got the Sennheiser XSW 1-835-A UHF Vocal Set with e835 Dynamic Microphone to replace an old, failing Shure wireless system. The Sennheiser was easy to set up, sounds great, and has been flawless with no drops of signal. Would definitely get this one again for our venue. Great value for a good performing and sounding mic.

[Black] This is by far the best sounding microphone I have ever heard for female voice on stage. It really makes a difference. It is much better than the "standard" dynamic vocal mics. The audience will notice the difference. Even at this price, it is a bargain.
