[0.2 lb] Makes my old shure sm58 look new. And fits just as the original battery cup did.

[Precut Foam] Works very well. Holds the Shure SM58 quite snug without moving. Good buy...

[Solid-State] I was happy with Shure SM58 until I bought this E845, my second microphone for karaoke The vocal seems much clearer with this E845

[Condenser] Shure SM58 continues to be a reliable workhorse. Great sound and singers love them. Also, the staff at B&H was EXCELLENT. As they always do, they were very helpful in explaining the products and making recommendations with NO pressure to buy. They are my go to resource for all audio/video products.

[Auto-Scan] I wanted to upgrade one of my Shure SLX2/SM58 handheld mics to a condenser mic with a higher frequency range and the Shure 87C element provides this especially for female singers; now I don't have the hand noise that can happen with corded SM87C mics so I have the best of two worlds and the ones using the mics definitely like what they hear as does the audience; besides the swap out of mic elements is simple; thanks Shure for making my life easy

[0.035 lb] We have Shure SM58 mics and always use the A58WS windscreens. I've used other brands in the past with less than acceptable results(breath noise, pops, etc.) The genuine Shure windscreens have never failed us whether used inside or out.

[1.15 lb] I prefer the e835 over the Shure sm58 both in sound and value. Especially at $15 less per microphone with this 3 pack. I've even converted two of my local bands over to e835 for their live performances based on audience feedback, specifically the vocals in a male rock bands. I primarily use this microphones for podcasts and panel setups. I'm sure I'm be buying more again soon for more clients.

[100 dB] I bought this to use with my DSLR (Nikon D500), and have used it with a shotgun mic, Shure SM58 (XLR), and a lav mic. I recorded video of myself playing piano using the shotgun and SM58 and got great results. It's a nice improvement to a basic portable system that doesn't make it less portable.

[Black] I have become convinced that the D5 is superior to the shure sm58 or any other mic in this price range. It cuts through the mix and has more clarity. I am speaking in terms of live performance in pop/rock style of music. I really don't know how it would measure up using it to record but it rocks as a live vocal mic for lead and background vocals. I even prefer it to the sure beta 58 and 87 too. This is the best vocal mic available for live applications in this range.

This windscreen seems big when you first get it but it fits snugly over the microphone. I use these on my Shure PG58 wireless handheld and SM58 microphones. I have these in different colors so I can easily identify which microphone I'm adjusting through the mixer. There is no loss of audio with the windscreen in place.
