Sigma 105Mm F/2.8 Dg Dn Macro Art Lens

[f/2.8] The Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art Lens for Sony E performs great with my Sony A7R-IVA. For my first foray into macro photography with the NiSi Macro Focusing Rail NM-180 and Helicon Focus 8 I got beautiful, detailed pictures.

[7 x 4.9 x 4.7"] While the Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art is a fantastic lens, it's important to note a few things: Size, Weight and the Price. Overall, Its exceptional image quality, fast aperture, and versatility make it a valuable asset for a wide range of shooting scenarios.

[f/1.4] I've owned Sigma Art 35's for Canon, Nikon and Sony (non-DG DN) and then had this lens in the Sony version on my A7r IV before switching to the Leica SL system. It does everything so incredibly well. It's sharp wide open, has no color issues (some Sigma's tend to be on the warmer side) and is built beautifully. The bokeh is ever so slightly busier than the canon 35L II (the best AF 35 made, in my opinion) but the difference is minor. If this lens cost $500 more, it would still be worth it, but at this price, it is an absolute bargain. Paired with the 85mm DG DN, I feel I can do anything, be it in the studio, in the field, at a wedding. These lenses are the new benchmark for how to do things correctly.

[0.045 lb] It's the OEM lens hood to go with my Sigma 19mm and 30mm f/2.8 DN Art lenses. Fits perfectly and does what a hood needs to do. Haven't really tested the optical effects of the hood because I mostly bought it for protection of the front element

[0.095 lb] This is a high quality collapsible lenshood for my Sigma 105mm 2.8 OS Macro lens. This unit takes up very little room in the camera case then extends far out when needed. Very happy with this purchase.

[0.32 lb] Due to the fact that the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM Art, does not have a tread, so the specific custom made Adapter gives the secure method of working with Polarizer and Nd Filters I recommend everyone to use this combination

[0.1 lb] This is my second Sigma lens for my Lumix S5ii. I do my research before purchasing like I'm sure most of you have. The Sigma 16-28mm DG DN ' C met my expectations during the few shoots I've done so far. I'm more than excited to take it on a trip to Hawaii in the near future. Would recommend for sure.

[0.115 lb] This lens gives pictures a look shared with the 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art - sharp without appearing overly clinical. It sneaks up on you - Oh, that's really sharp. Some of Leica's own lenses really slap you in the face with their sharpness - you'd look and say, My G#d that's sharp! The Sigma 35/2 DG DN C is also less than half the weight of the 35/2 APO-Summicron-M ASPH. I have a bad back and shoot on location a lot, so weight is important. And the Sigma 35/2 DG DN C while not an apochromatic lens is sharp enough. Subjectively and by MTF it's as sharp or sharper at center and edges than anything else that isn't a Leica L-mount lens. Highly recommended. (Use and images with Leica SL2.)
