[Yes] Have used it with my Sony A9, Sigma 150-600 sport with 1.4 extender and it handled the weight with no problems.

[Aluminum] My Sigma 150-600 is a breeze to handle with this gimbal. Birding has never been this much fun.

[0.36 lb] is a great addition for the sigma 150-600 lens allowing you to change features according to your needs

[1.6 oz (45 g)] It fits snuggly over the lens hood of my Sigma 150-600 C lens and offers good protection when installed. It is easily removed when required.

[0.25 lb] I have a Sigma 150-600 and like to shoot in high sun conditions. This polarizing filter permits me to quickly correct for glare and get the best sky I can. A good investment for this lens.

[0.04 lb] I use this on my Sigma 150-600 in order to get pics of the sun with an ND filter. Purchasing a 77mm ND filter is much less expensive than a 95mm. It works like a charm without any vignetting.

[-4 to +20 EV] This is my dream camera for birding, which I use with the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens.  Wonderful AF tracking for Birds in Flight.  Nearly full AF-point coverage over the viewfinder area.   Blazing fast shooting and a deep buffer.  Love the AF-point joystick and backlit buttons.   Excellent ergonomics.   Highly recommended !

[3 Positions] My first tripod was a small Mefoto Backpacker S, which is great if you need something ultralight for use when sitting down. I needed heavier and ultimately bought a very large Robus RC-5570 for use with my Sigma 150-600 lens. However, that's not a system I use when I need to be more mobile, so I needed a good midsize. One light enough to carry easily, yet tall and strong enough I can use with my Canon 100-400 lens. This one works perfectly. It's tall enough I can use it without having to stoop too much, works great when sitting down, and easily holds my Canon 80D and 100-400 IS II and my smaller lenses. This has become my main go-to lens for most cases. While I can technically use my Sigma 150-600 and gimbal with this one, the large Robus is still better for that combination.

[UV] After purchasing a 150-600 mm Sigma telephoto lens, I became convinced that a filter was necessary. Yes, it does filter out tray UV light, and this will add a small bit of clarity to your photos. More importantly, the filter provides protection for the lens. You may not consider this essential, but think about it: with protection, you will not be as skittish handling the lens. Less worrying about lens safety will increase your confidence with handling camera and lens, and that will translate to better photos. Since this is a Sigma filter, it is no surprise that it treads smoothly and flawlessly onto the lens. Moreover, you can still fit the lens hood and the lens cap right over the filter, and spend less time cleaning your lens. This was a somewhat higher priced than some other options, but now that I own it, I am glad I made the purchase.

[Clear] I ordered this to replace my Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens cap, which I somehow misplaced. This is exactly like the original. I'll try to take better care of it.
